I recently had a hip operation and needed something to elevate my knee while sleeping and this item worked just right. The height and shape is just what I was looking for and the cost was very reasonable.
I've been looking for a good knee support while lying down in bed and on the floor, this works just fine.
It was a little shorter than I expected, but it raised and bent my knees enough to keep them from locking up and it alleviated the pressure on my back.
It is made for support it isn't soft and gives away easy. It you want give or condensing memory foam maybe not for you. It is as big as stated and how it's pictured is accurate to size and firmness
I have spinal stenosis, neuropathy in both feet and know moderate arthritis in both knees and my hip which needs to be replaced. My doctors keep telling me to sleep on my back with my legs elevated but it hasnt been comfortable for me. However this knee support allows me to sleep for most of the night in one position that is helping all of my ailments.
This knee wedge is great for relieving tension in the lower back. I have spinal stenosis and never realized just how much tension and pressure there was until a few days ago when I started physical therapy. During one of my therapies I used a knee wedge and it was incredible so I came home and ordered one. My only wish is that this one was a little wider so that when I'm sleeping and really relaxed there's no chance of a leg falling off.
The cover is NOT terry cloth. It is a soft cotton cover with a zipper that you can remove to wash. I would have preferred terry cloth but this is ok.
Pillow is comfortable and supports the knees well. It could be a bit wider. Sometimes one of the legs will slide off the pillow during the night.
I like how it is somewhat firm and not too soft, but like another reviewer said it is not very wide and your legs have to stay close together. They should have made it 7-8 inches wider.
Nope. The picture is misleading. You would have to be able to keep your knees tightly together all night to use this as an elevation device for sleeping. It's probably fine for being awake and in bed, so maybe it gets one star. The length is 17 ". Comfortably splayed, hubby's knees were 18" apart. See the problem? For me the point at the top was uncomfortable. The pillow actually is hard enough that the point doesn't crush down enough to feel good on the back of your bare knee. Note the picture is wearing pants, probably for that reason! Anyway, I don't recommend this. Not wide enough, not comfortable.
