I recently purchased a 3 inch foam mattress topper for my bed. It made my bed difficult to get in and out of. This stool is perfect for what I needed it for. Just a little extra height. the ability to slip it under the bed when not in use and features that make it stable for an elderly person to use. Love it!

Just want I wanted and need! Spinal issues have resulted in a loss of 2 1/2 inches. Prepping food at my counter was painful to my elbows and shoulders. This platform step solved the problem. It's wide and has bumps to prevent slipping. I only wish that I had thought of this much sooner.

So this was the 2nd one that I bought. The first one worked great for the first couple of months. Then it cracked in the middle. I fell down because of it. I had fractured my ankle before buying it. So it was perfect. For going up and down the one stair going from the dinning room to the den.. It also states it holds up to 440. I weigh 220.. It didn't hold the weight. I was also very careful going up and down... When the first one broke. I decided to buy another one... Within the first couple of days. It broke right in the middle. So now it's being sent back..If it had support in the middle it may not break as easily.. Anyways this ito is probably best for a thin person. Whom doesn't weigh very much.. when it breaks you can lose your balance. possibly getting hurt. Not safe for elderly..

I got a refrigerator stand that does not work like a step stool I wanted to safely get out of my tub. It has rollers so even if I put a board on it, the wheels would roll and I'd fall. So....not work; not item I ordered.

This item is unsafe. The top layer is a rubber pad that's supposed to lay flat, but it's warped and lumpy and would not lay flat even after placing heavy items to flatten it. The mat is cut too large for the slots it's supposed to sit in, so even if it WAS flat it would stick up on the edges. On top of all of that- the stool itself is not level. It's wobbly and honestly the whole thing is a fall hazard.keep looking! You get what you pay for!! I've seen other brands that are better quality.

The white spiky non-slip surface was painful to stand on. It was lower to the ground than expected. It slides and tilts when stepped upon.
