Get dem gainz! :-P

Luke September 6, 2020

Tastes great and gives results. It doesn't upset my gut any more than any other whey isolate. Its also a far-better price than anything you're going to get at a specialty nutrition store.

Great taste and works well

Said May 2, 2020

I've enjoyed this for many years. The Isolate means no cholesterol and lower fat content, which is great if you drink a lot of this; it's worth the extra cost. This mixes fairly well, but is better if blended since it breaks it down even better. Sometimes I just use a spoon or fork to save time. It doesn't taste like fake sweetener (I believe it has sucralose but you wouldn't know) and has a strong chocolate flavor. Mix with peanut butter and banana and you'll forget you're drinking a protein shake altogether.

Great stuff.

DONALD September 28, 2020

Im not a body builder, just need more protein. This is great for that purpose. Little fat, easy to mix, I use water and drink when needed. I have used for many years and prefer it over the regular whey mix, because it has less fat. Chocolate is good tasting, Have not tried the vanilla or strawberry.

Meh

Container was only half way full. Thought I was getting a massive amount. Turns out it was just like a bag of chips full of air. However, it does the job and tastes ok.

Not the best taste but a good product for the price.

Good Price/Par Taste/Misleading Label-Read details

EASYGOER10 July 21, 2020

As far as taste, this is fair. I add organic milk (or ice water), fruits, nuts (see below), healthy yogurt (little to no sugar), berries and use a blender. **Please note: The marketing phrase "60 Grams Protein" is extremely misleading. It is half of that amount. Measurements are based on a single scoop of powder. With this product, 1 scoop equals 30 grams of protein. They are simply doubling the mixture to mislead you. They should be sued for this. For this, I downgraded my "rating" from 4 stars to 3 stars. On a health note, (non-saturated) fats are typically not the primary reason why people become obese. For example, avocados (or salmon) contain fats which are very healthy. The worst (besides fried foods, which you shouldn't eat except rarely) are sugars, salts and especially seed oils (like palm oil and canola oil). The USDA allows palm oil to be called "seed oil". It is really bad for you. Read the labels of ready mixed extra protein drinks. Some contain canola oil and a lot of sugar. If you are cooking and must use oil, extra virgin olive oil is the best. Nut oils are different (like sunflower, etc.). There is no reason to have any intake of seed oils, except what actually comes in the raw nuts. Healthiest are walnuts; also almonds. Overall, this is pretty good product. The protein comes from whey (milk). It has almost zero soy products (which can cause headaches and other problems). Read the labels!

Will Not Buy Again

David December 8, 2021

Of the six brands I have tried, this is absolutely the worst tasting. It mixes well in water, but very thin with an alkaline taste. (Alkali is used to process the chocolate.) There are better tasting protein powders so don't waste your money on Body Fortress.

Supposed to be 1.5 or 680 grams when and I accidentally tore the plastic off at the bottom, and I was shocked that there's only about a fourth full of product and that's after I fluffed it so it's not compressed. I weighed it and it is short quite a few grams and that's with me weighing it in that container. I have been buying it for a year now, but this is the first time I actually saw how much was in there. I'm gonna contact the company it could be that this was one that just got sliding on the conveyor belt.

Concerning side effects

Justin January 3, 2024

Very disappointed. I have been using body fortress products for a few years and have been generally quiet satisfied with their products. This particular purchase was bad as the Body Fortress Super Advanced Isolate Protein Powder seemed to contain something that can be best described as an estrogen substitute or testosterone suppressant - a very different %26 and scary departure from my previous experiences.
