I love this life jacket overall, very flattering, protective, absolutely is going to keep you afloat and increase your odds exponentially of not drowning. Fit is very very snug, they should be snug, but depending on swimwear could be uncomfortable for some. A lady who wears 4/6 clothing may want a medium. if you are more on the 3/5 side, a small should be sufficient!

I bought this jacket in a S/M for my 12 year old son who recently hit puberty and it fits well. He's about 5'4 and 125 lbs with an athletic build. He typically wears an adult small in tees and sweatshirts. Great material and can't beat the sale price.

The Jackets were great - zippers and clasps. Nice design. HOWEVER, based on the other reviews we read we ordered much bigger sizes than we would have. We ordered the women's and the men's L/XL both which fit perfectly but we would both normally be a S/M - so order a couple of sizes up!

These are great! Bought a sm/md for my daughter and boys sm/md for a friend's son. They were super comfortable, and the kids had a blast tubing. I have an O'Brien's women's large that was a little big, and after trying my daughter's, I thought the Lg/Xl might be a good fit, but unfortunately, it fits the same. I wish they had more sizes instead of combining them. I would say these jackets fit true to size for the smaller on the range. (i.e. sm/md fits sm, lg/xl fits lg). Be honest about your size and you won't have an issue. (This isn't a driver's license.)

Solid vest. Used for river rafting and although thick, it felt very secure and had a comfortable feel/fit. Sizing was on point. Great buy. I purchased during a sale period and it was worth every cent. However, probably would not have purchased at the regular retail of over $80.

runs small, my husband wears an XL or L shirt and it always fits, the L/XL size jacket does not fit him properly. the labels online say men (blue) and women (pink), they are identical and mens fit, my bust does not fit at all. colors are just typical gender profiling.

ok so ive seen mixed reviews about being true to size and also too small so i got the l/xl and also the 2x/3x. truth be told is we both need a 1x. that would of been perfect. the xl one fits my skinny husband although its uncomfortable taking on and off. the 2x/3x fits me but there quite a bit of room in the lower stomach area. we both usually wear XL. so i guess they are true to size but they definitely need to offer 1x for people who wear XL seeing how large/xl fits more like a large. id rather it be loose than too tight but ill have to try it out in the water to see if it works. couldn't beat the price of 17$ because the quality seems good so only issue is sizing

The sizing isn't that good. Wish they had a medium on its own, or medium/large women's. The sm/med is too tight, the lg/xl is too loose when in water. The shoulder area rides up, and cause chafing. Sizing needs to be adjusted for better fit. Although quality is great.

Item was just as described..it's very adjustable for different people. However, it does fit quite uncomfortably if your torso is the slightest bit shorter than average or if your hips are a bit large; those two things cause the vest to puch up very uncomfortably on a person requiring larger sizes in this item. The shoulders of the vest sit stiffly, way above the shoulders. Smaller worked great for my thin, fairly straight body lined daughters.

I wouldn't recommend but if you really want this for the color make sure you size up. This is a picture of a small/medium on top of a large/XL as you can see it's the same amount of foam only difference is the tiny amount of grey fabric added to the L/XL. Where the small ends the large also ends everywhere else only difference is the tiny grey fabric. They are the same length etc only sizing difference is an inch of grey fabric added. The grey fabric on the side is all you can see of the larger size under it. I'm a very tiny person just for sizing inconsistency comparison I wear a women's small in most brands and sometimes x-small depending on the brand I can fit in children's clothes still but I had to return my S/M for a L/XL and I don't wear a large in any clothing sizes I fit the right measurements for the s/m but when I put it on I physically could not breathe which I checked and is not normal fit of a life vest it shouldn't restrict your lungs. So all I can say is size up if you insist on ordering this. It's very cute I love the color I haven't used it in water yet to say how it holds up but first impression isn't the best since the sizing chart is inaccurate.
