The Body Rider 2-in-1 Cardio Dual Trainer Elliptical and Upright Bike is a nice, compact exercise system for fitting in a good cardio workout at home. It doesn't take up too much space and works well. Additional notes include: * Assembly required. The product includes clear instructions and all of the tools and materials necessary to complete assembly. It took me about an hour, from start to finish, to add all the parts to the main body of the bike/elliptical. * This is the perfect size for people who are within the mid 5 ft range for height. It's also great for older children. Taller exercisers may find the elliptical feature a little short, but it still functions well for the various heights of a family. Personally (a slightly above average height woman), I find the size and strides perfect. * The seat and elliptical bars are adjustable. * There is a digital counter included to keep track of time, distance, speed, calories burned, etc. You can set a desired goal for time, distance, calories, etc. and then exercise based on that goal. The digital counter cycles through all of the measurements as you exercise so you can see how fast you're going or how long you've been exercising. You can also reset and clear all the numbers to start from zero. * There is a knob at the large bike wheel that allows you to adjust the ease or resistance experienced while exercising. You can make it easier or harder to use, depending on how you wish to exercise. * The foot platform is designed for the elliptical, but it works okay for the bike mode as well. I recommend removing the elliptical bars when using it as a bike, just so you don't have the handles swinging away and towards you as you cycle. The bars are easy to remove and re-position. * My older children love using this exercise bike/elliptical and have gotten a lot of their energy out using it. Overall a really great exercise system to have at home!
I put it together and immediately used it. It went together real easily. I use it daily for about 30 minutes as my daily regimen and can watch the news while I get my workout done!!! I am reaping these time saving advantages and now have 30 MORE minutes, daily, to get things done!!! I can now do some well needed meditation to start my day!!! I am enjoying a MORE relaxed day and I am more centered, between my physical and mental balances, and I am enjoying my day MUCH MORE!!!
I love everything about body flex cardio dual trainer I'm working out in my home 🏠 💕
I tried Body Rider BRD2835 2-in-1 Cardio Dual Trainer Elliptical & Upright Bike, which I received for free, as part of the Walmart Spark Reviewer program. I give it FOUR STARS. It comes shipped in a rather large box that is close to 60-70 pounds. There are a bazillion pieces and after 2 hours of cussing on the living room floor, my husband gave up. The next day, my darling son picked up where my husband left off and assembled it in an hour and a half. The drama of having to put it together was daunting and I'm sure not as bad for some people, but for us it was not enjoyable. I wonder if assembly could be streamlined or simplified, somehow? There was a toll free number to call if we got stuck during assembly, but it was my understanding that that was to be used if a part was MISSING. This project was too much for us. We are thankful we had someone to come bail us out. Ok, so finally after about 3.5 hours total, I get to ride the exerbike. Yay! I've been wanting one and it's just in time for the Holidays. It's smooth running and not too noisy. I like the variety is offers, being able to ride like a traditional cycle, or use the low impact elliptical function. It has a small'ish footprint and tucks neatly in a corner. My goal is to only watch tv if my butt is on the Body Rider. Once put together, I only have high praises for the machine. It is sturdy and made of quality materials. It feels expensive.
Well I am rather impressed with myself that I was able to put this thing together without having a full meltdown. It comes in a lot of pieces to assemble. The directions are fairly clear, and it takes reading a few times to completely understand. The instructions say you need wrenches, but they include wrenches in with the screws. It took me 2 hours in total to put it together. It says you need an assistant, but I was able to prop the bike onto my leg and assemble the front and back bars fine. I think the hardest part was the pedal assembly, they noted the screws were to be put on left and right sides, but there was no marking which was which. I figured out that only the right screw screws into right and left into left. After assembling the bike, it seems pretty sturdy. My teenager daughter and her friend were excited to give it a try. They want to incorporate it into their nightly exercise routine. One weighing 120lbs and the other 150lbs got on it to give it a try. They both said they liked the comfort of the slide pedal and that it does have enough tension to give them a good workout. The friend liked that she was able to use either handlebar to pedal with. I wanted the girls to give it a good try before I got on it, as I weigh a lot more than they do and I wanted to make sure it would support me. I weigh 214 and it held me fine, the manual says it holds up to 250lbs. It has a comfortable wide seat and the slide feature while standing is a good workout! Hopefully with daily use I will be able to drop some weight with the help of this machine!
The Body Rider BRD 2835 2-in-1 Cardio Dual Trainer Elliptical and Upright Bike is a solid piece of exercise equipment, providing flexibility in type of workout. It takes up very little space with a "footprint" of 20 inches x 36 inches and can easily be moved with two rollers in front. The seat height/position and the height of handle bars easily adjust with no tools needed. The unit can be used as an elliptical trainer and as an upright stationary bike. The LCD display shows distance, speed, time and calories burned. The only negative is the amount of time required for assembly. Five different tools are provided with fairly written instructions. It took me almost three hours of continuous effort to put it together but it was worth it!
The installation required little more concentrations. The package was little damaged but found all the items inside. I am finding only drawback that the screws are getting loosen after every 2/3 days for uses. I am tightening it when finding loose.
arrived in a week. took an hour to unpack everything and make sure all the parts were there. the steel shaft everything pivots on was too big and the inside diameter of the bushings too small. total junk. unusable...
It did not work well after we put it together. The paddles hurt front of my toes . I Emailed manufacturer to get customer service but did not hear from them. I'm going to return it back to Walmart.
there is no need for this much tape and plastic... trying to pull it out and everytbing is tapped and tapped and tapped, then its all taped to styrofoam making it such a mess.
