Took this daily after a diverticulitis infection. Good for soothing and helping things move through if you know what I mean. Assists with repair and I use occasionally when I have GI symptoms or feel like I may have a flare up.

I have diagnosed with leaky gut syndromes and i need to improve my gut health. I have tried some herbal supplements and doenst seem to work that well. So i wanted to try byterate as doctors suggested. Will updade on how it goes.

My fav butyrate from ecological formulas is discontinued from Iherb so I have to buy this instead. Butyrate is my No1 supplement that I cannot live without. I cannot digest at all without supplementing, as I have no natural butyrate producers left in my stomach. After antibiotics and SIBO. This does the job but I think it's too expensive

Look, this probably contributed to the slow gradual (up and down) improvement in my GI symptoms, but I couldnt honestly say I could tell. So - even though it should be helpful, given what we know about short chain fatty acids - in all conscience I can't give it more than the three stars. Especially since itis expensive to take as a just-in-case ongoingly.
