kills on contact. great product.
It works!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't know how important was to de-pesticide your plants before bringing them in when it starts to get cold out until a couple years ago when I got mites on my plants so to my surprise that this became available on my behalf, I went ahead and got it and sprayed it on all my plants upon bringing them inside and so far so good I will continue to update if changes happen or don't happen. Thank you.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked Bonide MiteX. While it states that it “controls” mite, thrips and aphids, it does not say that it will get rid of them if you already have an infestation. It has a really nice scent, like cloves, which I didn't mind. Also it sprayed on very easily and I appreciated that because I've tried others with sprayers that were not as effective.
The nozzle is so small I had to buy a spray bottle to use the product. I couldn't get enough of the product on the leaves.
Quick delivery and although I have only used it a couple of times it seems to be working.
I am not sure if it works,, the sprayer is defective.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have aphids on my indoor palm that I've had trouble getting rid of. This Bonide spray works and there is no odor, which is good. I've used it twice since I got it and while the bugs went away, they came back each time within 10 days. The second time I made sure there was runoff but they still returned a week or so later. (First photo is before application, second photo is after, third photo is 10 days after application.) I'm not a fan of how heavily and frequently this needs to be applied. Plus it's messy. It has a pump spray, which drips quite a bit and I have to use gloves and hold a paper towel when spraying to keep from dripping on the floor. I also want to note the label says it is exempt from EPA registration, so low pesticide levels. The product works, but I don't think it's worth the mess of reapplying each week.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So this product is a little difficult for me to rate because it's currently almost winter and there are no mites or gnats flying around my plants. I'm giving 3 stars because it has a pleasant smell and a great ingredient list - one that doesn't make me scared to use it around the family! I tried spraying it onto some fire ants and it didn't kill them but it did seem to agitate them (yes I know it isn't made for ants). Time will tell and I will update my review once I actually have some mites or gnats!
This Bonide 114 Mite-X spray did Not kill anything. I was hoping to find something natural that would put a dent in clover mites. The ingredients used in this product are good if one is looking for salad dressing. ***Please do Not use as a food item!*** This Bonide houseplant insect killer spray has a fairly mild garlic smell and appears to be mostly water. After a few minutes, I realized this product wasn't having the slightest effect on any of the tiny houseplant insects I'm trying to get rid of...least of all the mites I bought the product for. I finally dumped the whole bottle on one small area just to see if quantity would help! Nope, didn't do anything at all - except make me think it might be nice to have a salad with dinner. I really was hoping this product would work! I gave it two stars instead of one because it definitely is a fairly safe product in terms of insect killers...so safe it didn't kill anything at all :).
