Works very well, very quickly

Bobbie September 7, 2026

Bonine Max Strength is a convenient option to keep in a travel bag, especially if motion sickness is something you have to plan around. The tablets are chewable, so there's no need to have water available when you need to take one. Each tablet contains 50 mg of meclizine HCl and is designed to prevent and treat nausea, vomiting, and dizziness associated with motion sickness. The directions say to take it about an hour before travel, and the max-strength version is taken once daily. I also like that the tablets are peppermint flavored rather than having the typical medicinal taste you might expect from an anti-nausea medication. The individual blister packaging makes them easy to toss into a purse, travel bag, or luggage without taking up much room. For anyone who deals with motion sickness, having something like this available before a trip is reassuring. Just be aware that despite the product's non-drowsy marketing, the official labeling says drowsiness may occur, so it's important to follow the warnings and directions. Overall, the chewable format, compact packaging, and once-daily dosing make Bonine Max Strength a practical travel companion for motion sickness relief.

Try it if you need it.

I didn't need it on my cruise but liked the price and the instructions and explainations. I hope it works for you. Never knew I was sea-worthy. Toot-toot!

Works!

Dramamine doesn't work for me- but I always keep this in my purse. I actually just offered it to a random guy who wasn't feeling well on a ferry. He thanked me later after the excursion was over.

Good buy

Personally, I prefer this over the other brands. You don't think it's going to work but then you find yourself just relaxing in a chair or on the sofa and you realize that you do feel better. It doesn't knock you out, but it will sneak up on you and the next thing you know you've taken a nap. My only nitpick is that it sort of hangs on too much the next day. I still prefer it though over the others. It doesn't taste bad and dissolves quickly.

Works for Me

Makayla February 1, 2026

I took this with breakfast before my boyfriend and I drove the Tail of the Dragon in Robbinsville, NC with 318 curves in 11 miles. We went through it in his car 3 times and I was glad I eventually passed out in the car. No sickness no nausea or heartburn just eventually sleep after a full day. I woke up fine for dinner

Say goodbye to motion sickness

Courmeg9 January 14, 2024

Best motion sickness OTC meds I've ever tried. I even get car sick at the eye Dr's. Take one 30 minutes before travel and no worries of getting sick or even drowsy. No after taste. Worked for hours.

bonine

Hello Home Testers, I received the bonine. I had to go to Denver, CO, from Pueblo, CO which is about 350 miles away. I took a bonine tablet and it helped me with the nausea and motion sickness.

I really liked this product. Didn't bother my stomach, doesn't taste to bad(no chewable tastes like candy to me though but very palatable) I noticed that it really helped with my vertigo which just randomly starts any time it wants. That was a happy and unexpected effect. I noticed zero grogginess the following day and I took it before a meal and the next day after and once on an empty stomach with that last being an issue for me bc my stomachs been weak since 2017 when I landed in the hospital due to ulcers I didn't know were the cause of my ailments so that's excellent effect in my opinion. Definitely will keep around so I really happy I found it or it found me through hometesterclub!
