Both plants arrived healthy and in good condition. Mint is a perennial so I'll be planting this outside in a container as soon as I have time Definitely, they must be planted in a container because mint will spread all over the lawn or garden if I planted directly in the ground. I especially like to plant these next to some of my flowers to deter the deer from eating other plants.
arrived safely packaged in special stiff plastic clam closed covers that wrapped completely around the plants and it a special designed cardboard box with air holes and "upright" arrows.
This is top quality - plants, packing, company - all amazingly different - I've never seen such wonderful care taken to make sure the plants arrived well and thriving - this company must really care for their plants - their product - extraordinary care and packaging will give them an edge in todays market - thank you for sending me healthy, breathing plants, upright with plenty of room - not squished like so many others I've received - I will treat them with the respect and care they deserve.
I've had mixed luck with the Bonnie Plants brand. The sweet mint was extremely root bound and many of the leaves on both plants had edges that had already started turning brown. The mint taste wasn't great either. I've had sweet mint before and loved it's sweet, milder flavor. These plants had a flavor that was closer to regular mint. That's not what I wanted. The plants died quickly. I won't be buying again.
I'm sorry but these plants did not last long. They really didn't look that good when I got them. I thought with care, I could bring them back to life, but they died really fast; within a couple of days! I dont know why, since I thought I was taking good care of them. The picture of them looks nice. Maybe I should have just taped the picture of them in the room insead?
By the time the plants arrived, they were both nearly dead and quite wilted. Lots of blackened leaves, stems and vines which doesn't happen in a couple of days of shipping. This has to have been in transit for weeks… between order and receiving, that's the only thing that makes sense. Hopefully it'll revive in full sun. Otherwise, I've just tossed money to the wind.
not sure if it was the plants or the way they were shipped. they were alive. dirt was all over the package not a lot left on the roots. I imagine if purchased in store it would be better quality. one plant looked healthy the other looked like it was almost dead I'm not sure whether they're going to grow or not.
DEAD ON ARRIVAL. OF ALL OF THE BONNIE PLANTS I HAVE ORDERED THIS YEAR EXACTLY ONE (1) PLANT HAS TRIED TO SURVIVE. THE ROSEMARY LIVES EVERYTHING ELSE IS DEAD, DEAD, DEAD, DEAD. THEY ARRIVED SO DAMAGED THAT THEY COULD NOT SURVIVE..BAD, BAD, BAD BUSINESS.
I have successfully grown maintained and harvested vegetables. Herbs botanicals for years now and never had problems until I got these Bonnie plants this year. Every single plant that I got has died somewhere infested with bugs some came with moldy soil some just came limp looking and didn't want to perk up. Do not buy online online Bonnie plans.
Don't ever buy from them the second time I tried and their mint plants showed up half dead and they're so small ; they should have gotten no stars! so disappointed
