this is the perfect amp kit for anyone powering under about 600 wats (just because u dont want obnoctious abounts of power runing through 10 guage) i wouldent run 1000 wats through it but i have a 500 wat 2 chanel and it works great
Everything i expected.
I purchased this kit to install a powered subwoofer in my Nissan Pathfinder, but had to buy extra red and blue cables from Home Depot because the ones in the kit were too short for my SUV. Depending on your SUV's setup, you may need extra cable to reach from the front to the back. Additionally, if your amplifier is in the cargo area and you plan to use the remote from your Head Unit, you'll need extra wire for the remote. The extra cables cost less than $5 at Home Depot, making it a good buy for budget-conscious individuals, but also for those who are smart about their purchases.
The installation was easy. There was plenty of Red wire, but the black 8 gauge was a bit short. I found a decent ground inside my truck for the subwoofer. The inline fuse provides 50 amps, which is more than enough for my 25 amp amp. The kit includes everything I need - tie downs, connectors, fuse, speaker wire, and remote amp wire. It's a comprehensive kit to get started.
This amp wiring kit is a terrific deal, it comes with everything needed including a remote turn on wire, and stereo ground wire. The only problem I had was that the ground wire for grounding the amp to the chasse of the car is pretty short, like 2 feet. I will be able to make it work, but make sure you can ground your amp properly with such a short grounding wire before you buy it.
The kit I received had a broken fuse, but it's a minor issue since it's a low-cost replacement part. I used it for basic components in my car and it served its purpose well. For higher quality components, consider investing in a better wiring kit like KnuKonceptz. If you're on a budget and just need something functional for inexpensive components, this kit will do the job.
I purchased this kit to power my 4000 watt amp. I should have gone with 2 gauge wire, but this kit works well with my 4-way MB Quart amp. The wire is solid and the kit includes plenty of 8 gauge wire for positive and about 2.5 feet for ground. The sound wire is good, though I didn't use it. The RCA cables are not as high quality as I prefer, but overall, it's a great kit for powering your amp. I rate it 4 out of 5 and would buy it again.
Great kit, great value, and more parts given that what you need but the cables are poorly made. The RCA cables didn't even last an hour before breaking. You get what you pay for.
The kit is affordable at $20, but better cables are recommended for good speakers. The included RCA cables are of poor quality, causing a constant hissing sound. Despite everything working, the kit is only worth two stars as you get what you pay for.
The RCA signal cables and speaker cable in the car audio upgrade kit were disappointing due to loose connectors and small size. The power cable seemed to be of better quality. It's suggested to buy wires separately from a local store for better quality and insulation.
