The tilt adjuster does not allow enough adjustment to let the chair tilt back at all. So really, there is no tilt adjustment possible. The spring is way too tight. I solved the problem by cutting off the plastic hand knob adjuster and grinding off the retainer for the 9/16" nut. I removed the nut and replaced the carriage bolt with one that's 1/2" longer and now it works perfectly, but in order to adjust it now I have to use a 9/16" wrench, but I only needed to adjust it once to get the just right position. However, this negates the warranty, but it saved me from shipping it back, because overall, I like the chair a lot. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE MANUFACTURER TO USE A CARRIAGE BOLT THAT IS 1/2" LONGER THAN THE ONE THEY CURRENTLY PROVIDE. Then it will work perfectly and you will have many satisfied customers!

It is a beautiful looking chair, and the assembly wasn’t that bad, as far as it wasn’t hard or complicated. But the screws didn’t really fit great, some of the holes for the screws were already stripped and made it loose fitting. As a chair that is offered as a chair for “Big and Tall”, we found it lacking. I bought it for my son who is 6 feet tall, 260 lbs, and he loves it, except he can’t lean back at all for it is wobbly and he doesn’t want to break it. The quality of the chair itself is great, but because of the terrible screw and screw hole issues I will not be recommending. If the company can do better with the quality of components for putting it together I would give it 5 stars and highly recommend.

This is NOT as the description says, "Big %26 Tall. Putting this chair together was easy. After putting it together and realizing the chair is not designed for big people, figure it is to much of a hassle to return. Now, I have to purchase another chair.

This chair is so stiff. It says big and tall but it doesn’t have extra width, the arms done move, and it’s so stiff you can’t really lean back. I got this as a gaming chair for someone and tried it out and we agreed I’d just trade mine for this one and just use it in my office, which it’s ok for my back support but my legs are already pressing against the sides as I’m a leg sitter. Just sitting writing this review in it is uncomfortable

The chair itself is nice. The base seems sturdy and I like the appearance. But the assembly was a challenge. The directions were easy enough to understand and follow, but you definitely need two people to assemble this chair - one to hold the pieces where you need them and one to add the screws. Some of the screws went in fine but two were a challenge. It almost seemed like they were already stripped. The first day I used the chair, I was relatively happy with the product. The padding on the seat was comfortable and it seemed like it would be sturdy. I am very large and I was just able to fit in the seat. But I had been hoping there would be a little bit more room given it is a heavy duty chair meant for big and tall people. Towards the end of the second day, one of the screws fell out and I was unable to get it to screw back in. Now the back of the chair is loose because it is no longer firmly attached to the arm rest. And I can see that when I sit back in the chair, it is putting strain in the remaining screws. I believe either other screws will come out, or the material of the chair itself will break. I realize that this was a relatively inexpensive chair, but I certainly expected it to last longer than two days. I purchased a two year protection plan and I am in the process of trying to file a claim, which is not easy as one would think. It will be interesting to see if they will replace the chair (or at least the back portion) and if I will experience the same issue with the screws.

This Chais very small. It will not sit back and rolls back when you try to sit in it. Not at all what I expected, and am very displeased with this product completely. Would not recommend to anyone.

I HAVE TO TELL YOU, THEY CALL THIS CHAIR A HIGH-BACK OFFICE CHAIR RATED FOR PEOPLE UP TO 400LBS. THIS CHAIR I COULD NOT SIT IN IT COMFORTABLY. I WEIGH LESS THAN 250 LBS. THE CHAIR IS NOT A HIGH-BACK CHAIR. MY SHOULDER AND HEAD WERE ABOVE THE BACK OF THE CHAIR WITH NOTHING FOR MY HEAD TO REST ON. IT WAS NOT VERY WIDE. WHEN YOU LEAN BACK, I WAS VERY LIMITED ON HOW FAR BACK I COULD LEAN. I CHAIR WAS A PIECE OF JUNK, POORLY DESIGNED, DEFINITELY NOT WHAT I EXPECTED THE CHAIR TO BE. I WOULD HOPE THEY STOP MAKING THIS CHAIR. VERY POOR QUALITY, NO ONE IN MY OPINION WOULD BE SATISFIED WITH THIS CHAIR. I really wanted to like this chair, but the experience has been frustrating. The chair arrived missing the coasters (wheels), so I had to buy replacements just to assemble it. Even after fixing that, one of the screws broke during normal use, and the chair is now unsafe to sit on. It seemed sturdy at first, but the hardware quality is poor. For the price, I expected something more reliable. On the positive side, the design looked nice and it was comfortable before it broke but overall, I can’t recommend it based on my experience.

After we got it together, my wife looked at it ad said which kid is that for?... it was supposed to be for a 300 man in the office, it is WAY TOO SMALL to be a big mans chair. If your buying it for small adult or child you'd be fine, but NOT for large adult...Very disappointed its advertised to be so. Taking it back

it looks very nice, BUT! it's very hard on the seat as if you're sitting on wood. and the chair is wobbly side to side . I do not recommend this one
