Was shipped in a envelope and the box open and spilled out all of the staples, lucky most were still intact and usable.

Annoyed by This Bostich Heavy Duty Stapler
To my great annoyance, a Bostich Heavy Duty Stapler that I ordered recently was sent to me WITHOUT A SINGLE STAPLE included with it. I couldn't even test the newly received stapler to make sure it worked properly without ordering a box Bostitch staples. (And they don't guarantee that standard-size, generic staples will fit. They claim to have a proprietary shape that requires Bostich staples only. (I'm not convinced that generic staples won't fit, but didn't want to take the risk, so I spent more money on another Bostitch product. I'd like to think that including zero staples in a new, heavy-duty stapler was a mistake (some sort of oversight) and not their standard practice. I obviously found it pretty annoying and wished I hadn't chosen this brand.
