I am doing a review on the Bostitch Portable Battery or Electric Stapler. It is so cool. I have never had an electric one. It really works. You can put four AA batteries in it or you can use the AC adapter that is included. If you are using the AC adaptor you will push one end into the back of the stapler and plug the other end into an outlet. The batteries are put on the bottom of the unit. It states to use Bostitch SBS191/4CP Standard Staples only. I don't have those so I just put what I have at home. They are just standard staples but I will buy the other ones because I'm sure it will make the product last longer. I just wanted to know if it works. You know if you get a new toy you want to play with it now. The size seems okay. I would say it is the same size as other staplers. It is 2.28 x 7.71 x 3.44 inches. It has a good weight to it. It seems to be made of high-quality materials. It doesn't feel cheap at all. In fact, it looks quite professional. To load the staples you will press the release button on the back of the stapler. It will eject the magazine and you can load your staples. After you have loaded your staples push it back in until you hear it click into place. It is that easy. You do not press anything to staple your papers. You push up to twenty sheets of paper in the front and it staples them instantly. I stapled ten sheets without a problem. You have a choice to staple at a 45 or 90-degree angle also. You have the choice to leave this on your desk or take it to go. I highly recommend this product.
I really like the fact that the stapler is electric. Minimal manpower trying to use a hand stapler to get 20 pages just take together. Not only did I tried 20 pages I tried 22. Yes it did work but it was tight lol. It looks great on my desk and I'm still afraid somebody's gonna try and take it. It has A stylish look and the fact that it's portable means I can Take it with me to and from the office.
I have owned many manual Staplers though my life, most of which get jammed or are just plain hard to squeeze. I have used Electric Staplers in my workplace and always thought they were so cool. Just stick your papers in the slot and BAM! they are stapled! This little Bostictch Stapler works exactly the same way. It is small and mighty, too. It is about the size of your hand, so it will not take up much space on your desk or wherever you plan to use it. It is very versatile, too, it can use Batteries or Plug it into the wall. Push the button on the back and a drawer pops out the front to load and reload the Staples. It was extremely easy to operate. I love the battery function since it eliminates a cord and having to plug it in somewhere. Having both options assures you will always be able to use it when you need to. It takes 4 AA batteries. I am a big fan of Rechargeable Batteries, Panasonic Enerloop is my favorite. Whichever type of Battery you choose, don't forget to order them, too!
This is a decent stapler. I easily stapled 25 sheets together securely. I don't think I would do more than that. I meant to test 20 sheets and afterwards counted and had 25. It worked great. It is approximately 6x3x2 and fits on my desk easily. It has little gripper feet on the bottom to keep it from sliding. I love that I can hold a bundle together with both hands and simply slide it in and it staples, I don't have to move my hands and risk my paper getting out line. I frequently staple bundles of documents and this stapler makes that job very easy. I have arthritic hands so I used my old fashioned stapler by standing up and leaning over it while I pressed down, hoping it would go through the whole stack. This stapler does it with ease. It is fairly quiet for a stapler and compact in design. It is easy to load and holds a fair amount of staples. It makes a nonsense job very easy. I'm very happy with its ability.
Works very well and multiple pages very good for the price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had recieved this for my honest review. I absolutely love using this stapler I take it on the go with me in case I need to staple papers together it's small an very convenient. I love the fact you can either use the cord an use it or just batteries. I do recommend if you need something like this on the go I would purchase it.
Works okay for home use staples sometimes will not advance and no staple will be released until opening the tray and moving staples manually. Review made by a Walmart associate.
May have been just ours but the plastic broken on receipt. Great customer service though.
Does not work. Some times it does and sometimes it doesn't. Very horrible design
Does not work, will not come on, also put my batteries in. No power
