Botanic Hearth 100% Pure Castor Oil with Wrap Kit

Mary July 12, 2026

I've used castor oil packs most of my life. It was always a struggle to find a method to hold the pack and/or the heat pad in place. This is a wonderful solution. As a skin and hair conditioner castor oil works wonders. Botanic Hearth with the pump bottle makes application less messy.

pure rosemary oil!! 🔥

sherry July 21, 2026

I've used Rosemary oil in my hair so I know that it's a great sealant for my natural hair. this one has biotin, jojoba, and castor oils so I'm pretty sure this will be a win win for my hair! it smells like rosemary and not too strong. I appreciate the accessories: scalp messager and two tips for applying to the scalp. it came wrapped to prevent spillage and to protect the product. I appreciate that!

Fuller, softer hair!

Meg August 8, 2026

I was pleasantly surprised at how much product you get for the money. I've used it once so far and I really did love how my hair felt afterwards. It has a spa like scent, not too overpowering. I left it on for about two hours, with a cap on, before showering %26 washing it out. It is oil, so I did a light shampoo with some clarifying shampoo and then a 2nd shampoo with my normal shampoo %26 conditioner. My hair felt fuller and also was soft %26 shiny. I will continue to use this product a couple of times a month.

I had been making my own but this is much better and easier to use. The caps are great. Much less mess for me. Bottle is larger than I thought too. I rub in my scalp and comb through a few hours before shampooing out. I have super fine and thin hair so I can't put oil in and go about my day. I would look like a greasy mess.

Great absorption

wanda August 7, 2026

It came very well packed, it comes with a convenient pump for easy applying on ur hands. It's súper soft and the smell is very light. I love that it's organic , pure ,natural and cold compressed hexane free. It also absorbes very well. This is great for eyelashes and eyebrows to grow. Soft elbows and knees and it's great for pain too. Just apply it and cover it so it doesn't stain your bed. It also came with a belly wrap. I adore this. It's a great product.

Ahhh feels so good after.

AisleInsider July 17, 2026

With perimenopause and my hair falling out I need to try something. I love all the clean ingredients. The oil applied to scalp easily. The tips were both precise and easy to use as well. I allowed to rest under a shower cap for 3 hours before washing hair. You can sleep with it. I could feel it doing something so I know it's doing something. After washing my scalp felt cool and relaxed.

Wait and see

PeeDee August 4, 2026

I'm looking forward to using this product. It will take a few weeks to show just how well it works. The reviews from others have been pretty positive. The smell is really quite pleasant. Although the combing applicator would not close tightly on the bottle so quite a bit came out with the first try. Now, it is oil based so don't wear your favorite shirt to do this because it will stain. my hair does feel very nice and smooth today and very shiny but does not feel or look dirty and oily like other products can make it look. I will definitely come back in a few weeks and give my honest opinion.

Pricey Extras

Anonymous July 30, 2026

The quality of the Castor oil is excellent. It's in a brown glass bottle and no hexane in it, which is the ONLY way to ensure a quality of oil that will provide all the health benefits. It came with a glass dropper, an eyelash brush and an eyeliner brush. Which was nice, if that's where I planned to use the castor oil. And the box it came in was nice and fancy. I also don't need a nice fancy box. I need castor oil for arthritis. And a lot of it. This brand is expensive. iHerb sells a brand of the same quality without all the fancy extras - for half the price.

The website description is misleading as it only lists two ingredients: castor oil and rosemary. Therefore, I was expecting it to be thicker. The full list of ingredients in the order listed on the bottle are: sunflower (helianthus annus) seed oil, castor (ricinus communis) seed oil, almond (prunus amygdalus dulcis) oil, jojoba (simmondsia chinensis) oil, sesame (sesamum indicum) oil, hydrolyzed silk protein, rosemary (rosmarinus officinalis) oil, peppermint (mentha piperita) oil. I DO like that it's not super thick like pure castor oil but I think the company should've listed all the ingredients. It's minty but maybe could be a little stronger. The comb that comes with it feels really nice and I actually didn't wash it out until the next day. It was not nearly as oily as I thought it would be the next day. I think this would be a good product to try since most ingredients listed are on the natural side. Hopefully it does make a difference with continued use over time.

I was so focused on getting cold pressed pumpkin seed oil with rosemary that I missed that this is in castor oil! It stinks SO badly you would have to live alone to use it and it would be hard to use very often- ie not on any day you have to be seen (smelled) in public. So disappointed 😔.
