[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finish my routine with fifteen squats while holding the kettlebell chest-high with both hands. My goal is to strengthen my knees and I believe this is working well for the purpose.
Since purchasing this product, I've lost 27lbs. I currently have CHF (congestive heart failure) and a pretty severe case of it. My heart functioned only at a 25% capacity but after 2 months of using my kettlebells and incorporating them into my workout routines, my heart has been gradually getting stronger. I go to cardiac rehab 3 days a week and not only myself but my nurses are surprised of my weight loss and my cardio clearly getting stronger. I ordered the bowflex dumbells and barbell/curved barbell with the stand to step up my game and continue my fitness journey
Appreciate the fact that this is 15 dumbells in 1. Simply set the dial to your desired weight and workout. Adjust the weight as needed by simply turning a dial.
The handle is really sturdy, smooth and not bulky. It's easy and smooth to adjust weight. Comes ready to go out of the box. Does not at all feel bulking with a lot of weight which was what I was concerned about. Really great product I just wish there was an option to purchase one for 50+ lbs as well.
After buying one of the Bowflex Kettlebells, I thought it would be nice to have two of them. Can do so many different exercises with the kettlebell by Bowflex. The kettlebell seems to work many different muscles. I recommend buying two of them, one reason work out takes half the time. The downside is the cost for two. Is it worth it? I thought so.
This product is pretty great. The ability to change between weights is seamless and easy. If I had one negative, it would be that the bell is a little more oval shaped then I would like. Not a big deal but your stance for swings needs to be a little bit wider. All in all a great product. #sweepstakes
The quick dial weight adjustment knob is very solid. The weight during the swing is solid and secure in your hands. Storage is very easy and neat. The ONLY wish I may have for this product and future versions of it is perhaps an ability to upgrade the total weight up to 90 lbs perhaps. I use the kettlebell to do standing goblet or hack squats as a finisher to some leg workouts.
Added to my basement gym. A comfortable alternative to dumbbells, bars, and bands, particularly for lower body work. The handle could be a little wider and/or rounded to fit both hands side by side. Also, the weight jumps by 10lbs in the higher ranges, so it's not especially flexible for smaller muscle groups.
I use 2 of the kettlebells in combination with the adjustable dumbbells to do at-home strength training workouts. I was looking for more variety in the types of exercises I am able to do, and the kettlebells are a great addition for that. The only downside that I can find with them is that compared to traditional kettlebells they are a bit bulkier, so for some exercises, can be a little bit awkward. However, I still think it's worth the space saved of not having to have a set of multiple kettlebells of differing weights.
This is a simple product that works as advertised. It appears to be a high quality, well made product. However, it is large and asymmetric in shape relative to other kettle bells I have used. The size and shape make it awkward to use during some exercises. Not as comfortable to use as a traditional round kettlebell
