Bowl Fresh Automatic Toilet Bowl Cleaner and Freshener with Borax, 2 Pack

I've been getting these for a few years now and they work well enough. They are cheap so don't expect WOW but they do the job. This is more for maintaining than it is deep cleaning. If your toilet is already discolored and stained this will help over time but not enough to make it spotless again. If your toilet is already clean this will help keep it that way. It doesn't have a strong smell which is one reason I continue to get this, I am allergic to most cleaning products, they will set my asthma off and/or I break out in hives, this does not do that to me and it still cleans well enough to be helpful. Again though if you are trying to restore an older toilet this isn't going to really do that, it will help some but nowhere near enough, so you may want to start with something stronger and then use this for your maintenance afterwards. Case in point moved in to an old home and while the toilet bowl itself isn't bad the tank inside was horrendous and after using these a few times you can tell the difference in the tank where these settle at is a lot cleaner than the other side of the tank.

This item is easy to use just drop in the tank but it might leave color in hands so usually I use small paper napkin or drop directly from the packing. This last about 2-3 weeks which is good but it doesn't smell good or bad at all so just to keep the bowl blue and little bit clean..

Somehow the item images make these look huge but they are under 2 inches in diameter. I am hopeful the borax will kill the fruit fly eggs in my toilet's rim flush jets. Other products have not.

This toilet bowl cleaner definitely lasts a few weeks. There isn't much of a smell to me. However, it does the job of helping with the cleanliness of the toilet. When I clean the whole bathroom now, it cuts time spent on cleaning the toilet by at least 85 percent. The toilet bowl cleaner is so low maintenance. You just drop the tablet and go.

I have well water and septic and got this to try to keep the bowl clean of deposits. Since I've been using it, it's all but gotten rid of the hard water stains that were in my toilet. It's cheap, easy to use, and gets the job done better than expected, at least for what I got it for anyway.

These tabs are great! I love that the scent is not Strong like other brands that I can't use due to the overwhelming scent. I like the "drop in tabs" instead of having that plastic hanging down from the side. The blue is nice so you know when to replace. Good price.

So there is a bathroom everyone uses so this is a must for me. It helps keep the odor out and assists in cleaning the toilet. It doesn't clean it for you now... it helps for when its time for cleanup.

I put one of these in the back of my toilet I constructed. it has a new smell, it was easy to set up. however it says to replace it when the water is no longer blue. Will the water got so light blue you couldn't even tell it was blue. So if I can't tell that the water is blue I don't really know how long they last.

It turned the water in the bowl blue for /- 29 days. Other than that, I cannot say with any specificity. I did not notice any particular aroma, nor any diminution of 'aroma' after a bowel movement, for instance. The bowl did seem 'cleaner,' though I would not be willing to wager any vast sums on the accuracy of such an appraisal. Going to put the second tab(let?) in after writing this. Funny, I did not notice when the bowl stopped looking blue - so, not absolutely sure how long the one tablet did last. It did not seem to be doing any cleaning nor offer any particularly favorable smell (aroma), nor can I honestly say the product was 'Long Lasting.' (Sixty -60- Days would be my measure of 'ling lasting.')

I don’t understand how these get reasonably high ratings. I cleaned and brushed out my toilet bowl, drop one in and all they do cover up the stains and ring with blue water. I thought they would keep my toilet bowl a little cleaner in between regular cleans but all it does is color the water. I won’t buy again.
