Boy Craft Catapult Wars Build & Battle Game, 1 Each

We purchased two of these at separate times. One was for Christmas for our 12-year old son. When our 6 year old saw it, he wanted one too, so we went to walmart.com and purchased another since our store was sold out. They are easy to put together, with the exception of the glue - we used regular elmer's glue and it worked fine. The tube of glue is hard to work with and was dried up. Other than that, everything was perfect! It went together well and quickly and these are super fun to play with since they come with mini bean bags! Love it!

My son used one of the pair of catapults as a launching device for his science project, which went very well. For about $10, it worked great!. I worried about it only being glued together, but for no reason; it lasted through the many trials and measurements. He and his brother can't wait to actually have catapult wars using the set of two. The only drawback is aesthetic-the stickers peel off, or fall off, rather easily. I suspect it is partially due to the dry air of winter.

Quality materials, good instructions

This was purchased as a gift for my 2 grandsons. It was easy to put together, all the parts were there. We will enjoy playing with them.

My 3.5 year old actually picked this out to be MY Christmas present. Assembly was simple, though I used my own wood glue, so I can't say how well the supplied glue works. The stickers are the best quality I've EVER seen: thick, glossy, and nicely adhesive. They really dress up the otherwise dull-looking toys, and there's a ton of different ones to use. I doubt you could even fit them all on the two catapults. And the catapults work GREAT. They sling the bean bag "pillows" anywhere from 1-8 feet, depending on how you load it and how far you pull the cord back. We've discovered they also work great for launching Imaginext figures. ;) Just a tip, I think it's better to loop the rubber band under the body but behind the vertical arms instead of behind the front feet, otherwise the front of the catapult doesn't sit flat.

Product is fine and price is right, BUT, waiting two weeks for a store pick-up of a product that should be "on the shelf" is against everything that Wal Mart claims to be.

Aside from all the gluing I had to do it was fun once they were made.. the guys they give u to hit on each team are fun so knock over and we had a distance contest. Only down side it rubber band broke before we even got them assembled. Quick fix it a few hair ties worked and boys 13-9 loved it our kit came with 8 bags 4 of each color but over the days they when missing.

Easy to play, and boys love it

This was one of my son's gifts for his birthday. The catapults seem sturdy and they work well to loft the bean bags across the room. However, as the other reviewer said, the glue it came with was all dried out so my son used wood glue to adhere the wood pieces together.

Love the idea and my kids really seemed to enjoy building the catapults (and now playing with them). However, 2 pieces were missing from our set (we improvised) and now also after 1 day of use, one of the pieces of wood is splitting. I will probably try to see if I can exchange the set.
