I like the looms and they are easy to use. Instructions were not that great and patterns did not come with it. However you can find patterns and stitch instructions online.

Helping my grand daughter with making her daughter my great Grandaughter make her blanket since she works a lot n not much time n I wanted to put some my work into helping her finish so I bought one to use to work on it too It's really easy to learn. Coming along slow but we'll get it done and then learn to make more things for baby girl

the pegs seem close together but im new to this so i dont know. very sturdy pieces, great to knit with.

4 sizes %26 comes with the hook. Excellent gift. I got one for an older friend that has body pain %26 days where she can't leave the house %26 one for my child. Excellent tradition to pass down, can travel w/you, %26 they can now make gifts for others. You can't pull as hard and jerk around since it's plastic, (they can break) but you can make smoother turns and flips because of the curve of the plastic so it won't gray your fibers like the nail and wood.

This was my 2nd set of these. i love this brand.

great hobby item to purchase...

I hadn't used one of these for fifteen years, but thought it would be an easy and fun way for my daughter to make some Christmas gifts. And it is, but the notches (which is new since I used one) aren't smooth and it is difficult to move the yarn down the peg before adding the next row of loops. Keeping the yarn loose only helps a little, I think I will have to file off the little bumps that stops it being a smoother flow. Dispite the setback, several of my kids have had a go using it and like it, except the burr issue. The hook tool is new to me and way easier than the crochet hook I used. I like the variety of sizes of looms. Instruction were sufficient to get us started and though we are making up our own pattern the looms are versatile so it works. The hang up (literally 😬) is those burrs.

Product is as advertised in photos and description. Comes with 4 different sized looms. I did overlook the yarn size suggested, definitely doesn't work well with thinner yarns without using multiple strands to bulk it up to the required yarn size. Even at that, yarn snags/catches on the hooks, making it frustrating to use. Perhaps it's because I haven't used it much and user errors were made, but I find just knitting with needles to be faster.
