Great coffee! I would buy 2 bags of coffee when I was in Colorado. I was happy to find out Walmart would deliver this to California.

The positive is they cheap. But too salty

PROS: You can smell the rich coffee flavor as soon as you open the bag. Boyer coffee delivered on its intense and smokey flavor claim without having a burnt taste to the complex coffee flavor blend. Makes a nice strong black cup of coffee as that is the way I drink coffee. 194 degrees water extraction Fahrenheit drip coffee using ceramic dripper was amazing. I like that my order came individually packed with an inventory detail of the expiration date in the future and signed. CONS: I have cut back on my coffee over the years to one big cup in the morning, this coffee would make it so easy to go to drinking way more coffee. This is truly coffee that you will be dreaming about after you start drinking it.

Boyer's Coffee is excellent! I got the Rocky Mountain Thunder whole beans. It's a dark roast, and it's perfect for my espresso machine. I grind enough beans for a week or so, and I make espresso every day (sometimes several times a day!). I am very picky when it comes to my daily coffee. Taste has to be absolutely perfect. The aroma from grinding and brewing is out of this world. Very rich, dark, and a little nutty (I like my coffee like I like my men, hah!). There's no bitter or burnt taste. It's perfectly bold and smooth. I add a lot of cream to my espresso because I like a very strong cup of coffee with the contrast of the milky sweetness. This Boyer's Coffee is a true treat! I would definitely recommend this coffee to aficionados as well as the occasional coffee drinker. You haven't had a real coffee experience until you've tried high end beans! I also like that the beans are roasted in the good ol' US of A, and they support faming communities worldwide. After several decades of buying the same coffee beans, we have now definitely switched to Boyer's Coffee Rocky Mountain Thunder!

This is a whole bean so I had to look up how to grind them without a grinder. There are several ways that are pretty easy to grind coffee beans, so it worked out well. The coffee has a great smell, as most coffees do. It's a strong coffee but I like mine strong. A good dark, flavorful coffee.

The first thing I noticed was the wonderful aroma that comes out of the bag when you open it. I don't think I will ever be able to go back to pre-ground coffee again. The dark roast is bold and everyone raved about the coffee at our brunch. The bag is perfect for storing the beans because it keeps the light out and can be folded over to get a good seal. Although most everyone loved the dark rich flavor, the next day I used less coffee and got a more mild coffee which I like in the morning. I'd recommend trying it different strengths. I have a coffee maker that allows me to make single cups with the small filter insert pod (see picture). This is perfect for experimenting with different strengths of brew.

The beans smelled great, but the flavor we expect just wasn't there. It doesn't have the rich flavor I expected. I tried making it in both a French press and a stove top percolator, but it wasn't special, just the run of the mill regular coffee. Three stars for it is OK.
