despite a photo and packaging that made it look like an original Braun shaving head, once opened and installed, the shaving head didn't cut at all, pulled out hairs, and prevented the protective cap from being fitted.

Junk. A waste of money. This replacement shaver head is so bad that I swapped my five year old cassette back in. At least my old one cuts whiskers. This replacement head looks pretty close to the old one but I am not convinced the cutting blades are sharp. I'm not convinced it is made by Braun. I am convinced it will never give me a clean shave.

I would like to return the item I purchased through a Walmart seller. The item is a Braun Series 5 52B Electric Shaver Head Replacement Cassette - Silver. This shaver head is defective and pulls the hair on my face when I use it.

This unit was of very poor quality, I think it was a knock-off, if it was a real Braun product, they have really gone down hill. It was catching on every whisker on my face as if it was very dull

The shaver head I received was very dull. The old shaver head I've been using for the last year cut better than the new head. The quality control was not existent for this product.

I wanted a Braun original equipment replacement. After doing some online searching I found what I wanted at Walmart. I ordered this item Nov 10, 2024 and received it Jan. 9, 2025. Three months. I understand that Canada Post went on strike and then the Christmas and new years statutory holidays but still, three months? My first shave cut and pulled at my day old whiskers. Halfway through the shave i put the old one back on. This one is what came with my two year old shaver. It completed my shave that day. I decided to return the item. A few days later i decided to give it one more try thinking maybe on the first attempt i was crazy about that days shave. This time I did a full shave not enjoying it at all. It was pulling and cutting the entire time and was not giving a close shave at all. I then put the old one back on and was cutting closer than this new one. I'm returning it back to Walmart. I don't know if this seller is selling brand name knockoffs or what but if Braun has declined to this level of quality I am very disappointed indeed. As for a rating i'll have to go with one star when it deserves a zero star

Ordered this razor cartridge to replace an original that was old. When removed from packaging the cartridge was noted to be lighter and less robust than the original. After installation, the shave was rough, with many pulled hairs, and not very close. Repeated passes over the face failed to provide a shave that was even close to the original.

Do not buy, this is a cheap knock-off made in China. It looks like a genuine Braun part but it is not. The cutting foils are much thinner and don't sit right in the cassette. It didn't cut as close as my 4 year old shaving head. It actually hurt my face to use. I will be returning this item.

Had to return it as it was a knock-off. Not a Braun product as was advertised. The return was fast and easy.

Returned! Must have been faulty. This was much worse than the one I replaced which is about 2 years old now.
