Braun is always a well respected name, German engineered, and built to last. This is a beautiful set, and I LOVE the camouflage. It's definitely well worth the money, and hopefully will last for many years.

My husband loved it for his beard. It has few attachments but does have a dial to adjust for different lengths. He says he'll get used to it.

I really wanted to love the Braun All-in-One Series 7, but after putting it to use, the design flaws are hard to ignore. The most frustrating issue is the attachment mechanism. It's poorly designed, making it possible to reattach the guard in the wrong position. If you aren't extremely careful, you'll end up with a much shorter cut than what you actually selected on the dial—which is a recipe for a grooming disaster. Speaking of the dial, the length lock is in a very inconvenient spot. Because it sits right under your thumb or finger during use, it's far too easy to accidentally unlock it while trimming, causing your length setting to shift mid-cut. Maintenance is another headache. The trimmer head has a "deep cup" design that traps hair; it's incredibly difficult to clean out, especially if the hair is slightly damp. On the positive side, the blades are excellent. They are sharp, don't tug, and provide a very clean cut when the guards are actually behaving. The battery life is also a high point, and the 5-minute quick charge is a lifesaver if you realize you're low on power right before you need to head out. Ultimately, while the motor and blades are high quality, the ergonomic and mechanical flaws make it hard to recommend. I had high hopes, but I'll be looking for something more user-friendly.
