Great Western, Lots of action, traveling, horses!
Fast paced western. As with all Westerns there are shoot ups, but not gross. Bret is a lovable. When over you want more. I bought the Maverick series and all movies too. Bart his brother shows up at very end.

A fun revival gone too soon!
If you enjoyed the original Maverick, this sequel series is worth a watch! It's a shame that Season 2 never happened. The show really started to show its potential towards the end of Season 1. Still, these episodes are quite enjoyable for fans of the genre!

The Great James Gardner
One of the best actors I have seen growing up as a kid and wish I was as good as he was in poker. I could go on and on he was a great actor and will be missed,

I was expecting episodes from the original series. When I was looking -- very carefully -- on the iten description, there was no indication that it wasn't, but rather a much later revival of the series, which, since it was a birthday gift I really needed to know. It definitely still has collector value to it, and it definitely still has James Garner in it -- very important: but it's still definitely NOT what I thought I was ordering.

Discs skip and freeze. Impossible to get through one of the episodes. Will not even work properly with remote. Unfortunate, since we both enjoy James Garner movies. These discs are damaged; not worth it.
