Personally, I don't care for the straw but I don't like drinking out of plastic.
Absolutely loved it so much that I bought another one the following week. Regular tap water now tastes great! Highly recommend!
This is our go to water bottle for back to school. I wish there were more colors available in the smaller sized Brita bottles. The bottle is durable and the bottle nozzle is easily replaced making your purchase last longer. The bottle is well insulated as well
I bought this as a 2nd Brita bottle after being slightly annoyed that my first one (regular plastic) would sweat too much in the summer making a bit of a mess on my desk at work. This one doesn't sweat. It does greatly improve the water taste at work which was definitely needed. The straw is a bit hard to suck from but to be expected considering you're sucking through a filter.
I got tired of bringing disposable water bottles to work so I decided to get a reusable one. I knew some people who used Brita water bottles and they said they would recommend it. I didn't know Brita had insulated water bottles (the people I know just have the regular ones) so I was very happy to find this one. So far it is working well for me. It keeps the water cold and tasting good.
Like many others the part that holds the cap part of the straw component broke so now I can't take the bottle out of the house because the 32 oz metal bottle is too big to fit in any cup holder. Anywhere else in a vehicle and it tips over, spilling water everywhere. I see where this is a known problem for over 6 years now & Brita won't fix the problem or sell replacement lids. I'm considering looking for something else because that lack of customer care shouldn't get rewarded.
I bought myself this brita to minimize plastic water waste. The bottle functions as intended, so very happy with that. Cons: When the click latch breaks on the snap cap you have to replace the entire water bottle. There should be replacement parts. Adding ice cubes, the ice cubes must elongated/skinny or small in order to fit threw the top and easily maneuver around the filter stem.
It's really a great bottle...until the cap breaks. After a year of use, the front edge of the cap just crumbled off. This seems to be a common complaint among the negative reviews, but it really is a nice bottle up until then. Kept my drinks cold all day long. The plastic filtered bottle I have from Brita is still going strong after 4.5 years, but it doesn't keep your water nice and cold like this one did.
I have had this water bottle for months and never had any issues. But the cap recently broke so now it's constantly hanging open. I love the brita filter and the construction of the straw but I hate how the lid is broken and doesn't close. It's. a poor design. I want to order another lid but Brita doesn't sell the lid separately which is frustrating. If this is such a common design flaw they should just sell the lids. I don't need a filter or straw attachment, I just need the lid.
Love the water bottle but mine arrived with a big dent in the side.
