So much better than a PUR, tried a PUR 1st and 2 of them broke in different place on the 1st and 2nd day. The Brita I think makes the water taste better, is heavier duty and the OEM filter replacement last twice as long and at almost half the price... Purchase the Brita instead of the other brand, you will be happier :)
I drink a ton of water, so it is super helpful to have this filled up in my fridge ready to go and fill up my water bottle with! I try to avoid a lot of chemicals in my water, especially chlorine and various others that aren't dangerous in large amounts, but can be in long periods of times.
Ordered/received two days ago and I believe I can tell the difference already. Moved last summer and could tell the water tasted and looked different. Don't care for gadgets, but this was a good purchase. Simple to use, sits on counter - convenient reminder to drink more water - Five Stars Indeed.
This is my first time using a pitcher water filter. I’m lucky enough to have great-tasting water straight from the tap. But they dumped a lot of chlorine in the water and I had to do something. The Brita worked very well. I could still detect a faint taste of chlorine but it was very, very faint.
Britta pictures are easier to use than some of the other brands as far as filter installation . I was using other brands , but the filters were hard to take out of the pitchers… they almost seemed to seize up after a while The water tastes really good, but I’m not sure how long these filters are going to hold up. The pitchers themselves tend to splash all over pouring them if you’re always in a rush, like I am …pouring a little more gently would solve that. Overall, I am going to stick with the Britas .They are just easier to handle.
I was buying bottled water and there is definitely a plastic taste. Thought I would try the Brita filter and was VERY hesitant because it is also made of Plastic. I am happy to say that I don't taste any plastic and the water is FANTASTIC! The pitcher fits in my refrigerator door which makes it easy to access. Interestingly and kind of funny, my dog drinks 2 to 3 times more water now that it is filtered, which is good for him. Since dogs have much stronger sense of smell and taste, I think that says A LOT!
I bought this after purchasing a zero water picture this one has kept my water clean and clear for the last 2 months the Zero Water picture started tasting like fish within the first month I find this britta 6cup water pitcher to be far superior
great water purifier easy to use and very handy and a good way to make sure you have good drinkable water I would definitely recommend this and at the price you can beat it Brita makes it taste better
A tad too small. However, it is sufficient. I had a 10 cup previously. I do like that it is petite to put into refrigerator. I have been a britta user for over 12 years. It is better than all the plastic water bottles I would have put into waste. And I like the way the water taste. I have used in different areas of Texas and it is always good
Poor design. Easily tipped over. Base should be more substantial. Top heavy when full. Arrived pre- hairline cracked. Taped over keeping fingers🤞Flimsy plastic used for carafe. Third carafe purchased in short period of time because of how easily cracked%26 broken-Even so being very careful with them. Refrigerator to sink as far as they go- Cheaper to buy bottled water at this rate.
