Great Value Water Filters, Fits Great Value & Brita Pitchers, Replacement 3 Pack

If you're perpetual hydrators like we are, these Brita filters are a real life saver. We literally go through them like water. Oh no, did I just say that? Yes, we do! It's amazing that the filters pull heavy duty filtration for as long as they do. It's a good thing because the alternatives are so expensive they make drinking water cost as much as wine. The water flow is a good steady pace, but I don't mind. It means it is doing its proper job of turning tap water into a treat not a chore..

I've used these for years, they are comparable to the name brand. Sometimes it takes a bit of wiggling to get them to fit just right but they always do.

exactly the same as British and fits both of my Brita pictures love it. and my water tastes great and comes right out of the sink right into the picture and boom clean water

I love that you can use these with my Brita 10 cup pitcher to save some money. Interestingly, I bought the Brita 10 cup from Walmart for $28 and the 'Great Value' 10 cup pitcher was $37. LOL

The top of this Great Value filter looks significantly different in my opinion from the Brita filters. For that reason, i was skeptical that it would fit. Also, my Brita pitcher is not the one with the handle and spout, its the larger UltraMax dispenser with the spigot. I double-checked reviews that it would fit and by golly it did...and the water tastes great!! At $3.33 for each filter, i am quite pleased with my purchase. I shall be back soon.

the filters work just fine as far as I know. I have no measuring device to say that the water is not filtered or filtered. the container I purchased 2 years ago has never worked right. the red light turns on: when the filter is installed, water refill, water poured... go figure.

Fits ez snug on old Brita pitcher. Filters fast, like 5 mins entire pitcher. Water taste similar to Brita filter, not as delicious as Zerowater. Cheap, but not the cheapest. No lugging heavy bottles of water from store. On my 2nd fill, so do not know if it will do 40G as stated. No sediments.

My IMPRESSION is that these filters as not as good as Brita. Brita filter is costly. Well, at least they Equate do something. When I get an Amazon water tester, i will know more... At least these Equates dodge tap water to a reasonable degree.

I often try Great Value and Equate products to save money and most of the time I am very satisfied. In my opinion, these filters are not worth the savings over the name brand. My tap water still has chemical taste (chlorine, etc.) when using these filters. It seems like the filter fits the pitcher, but I noticed that the pitcher fills faster. So, not sure if that is a fit issue or a filtering issue. Either way, the name brand filter makes the water taste better, so I do not plan to repurchase these.

One of the filters was completely broken with the particles loose. But since the pack is for six months, it is out of the return window. This is not safe.
