Great price good quality. I'm impressed. We'll order again from this seller.
Our old Brita's battery died and so I bought this new one. I really like the new design as it's thinner and deeper. It also allows you to add more water so as to get it filtered quicker.
I've had a Britta pitcher for years and just purchased this newer model. We really like it! It's a much better design. They improved the area you pour water into for filtering to prevent the spicket water going directly onto the filter. It also shelters the unfiltered water from accidentally spilling out from the top section if you want to pour before it's fully finished filtering. Generally speaking I've always liked the taste of the water from the Britta filter. I researched the ZeroWater filter first and decided to continue with Britta knowing I'm not in a state with a high contaminant water area. I watched many YouTube's comparing them. I learned what it means to have a 0 water reading and found there's really no need to bring my water levels down to 0 as that's not necessarily the key indicator if the water is best or safe to drink (e.g. one YouTube showed someone put nail polish remover in a cup with water filtered from ZeroWater and it still showed 0, while in another cup put healthy mineral solution in another cup and it showed a higher reading).
Pros: works well, fair price, came with a spare filter, filters last much longer than claimed - at least for removing chlorine. Cons: pitcher plastic is thin and seems weak, awkward shape. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and I recommend this pitcher for anyone who is interested in removing chlorine from their tap water, resulting in good, inexpensive drinking water.
One of the Brita water filters was compromised and unusable due to a manufacturing defect. One slot in the bottom of filter was too narrow preventing insertion of filter in it's location. bottom. This took away from some of the value of the economical purchase which included two filters.
The Walmart part of the purchase was excellent. Very reasonable price, faster than expected delivery. However, the Brita pitcher was defective. In order to remove the top to clean the pitcher, I had to stick my hand inside and almost pry it off. Then, when the filter was installed, the cover would not close. There was a design flaw in the product. I am returning it.
The filter was great and worked as expected. The brita box has dried old food that appeared to have been spilled and not cleaned up all over the box. It was so noticeable that there is zero way that it could have been missed during packaging. Since the tamper seal was intact I kept the product but don't plan to have items shipped to me anytime soon based on how nasty the box was.
I was excited to get this. I got it all set up. Works fine. But if you overfill it, water will run straight from the handle into the reserve tank. It takes a bit to fill it up. And my pitcher can only handle to filter less than 5 cups of water. It is advertised for 10 cups. So although it works fine, it is a disappointment
I received the incorrect water pitcher. The pitcher I received did not match the description nor the pictures. The product I ordered was supposed to have a cover over where the water comes out with only a blue handle. This pitcher clearly does not have a cover for where the water comes out and is completely blue at the top. Don't waste your time with this seller. Now I have to return it myself because of their mistake.
They put wrong pictures of this jug.
