Thank you for the fast shipping and the smooth shopping experience. Everything arrived as expected.
Name brand & cheapest place I've found it anywhere. Also dislike how the local office supply stores carry a majority of their inventory of their "own" brand trying to push that on you making it a lower price but then upping the name brand products to then make you purchase theirs due to cost. Well I'm getting my toner from Sam's Club from now on.
This is a repeat purchase (though not from Walmart) of this product. Prices are largely the same across retailers.
I purchased a genuine Brother drum for my printer. It works great, but like so many proprietary things, it is too expensive, especially as my printer has been discontinued and is no longer supported. However, I have had trouble with "compatible" parts and decided it was best to purchase a Brother product.
This is necessary along with the toner cartridge for the printer to work properly. This is the first time my printer didn't tell me the toner was low and I was getting very faded copies, so thought it was the drum, but it actually was the toner, so I didn't really need the drum at this point. Very disappointed my printer did not show that the toner was low.
The product arrived in a repackaged box from another source inside of a wine box other than Walmart. It had a card inside stating when the store received products with damaged packaging they can't resell it. They state the product is still new, but they are passing on the savings. It was $5.00 less than Staples. If I had known this I would have ordered it from Staples. It does not look used, but for 5 bucks I would prefer original packaging. They should inform you in advance so you can make an informed decision.
I received a returned used Amazon order as a new drum for 88.00. It came in a damaged box, poorly wrapped , and poorly taped. I want my money back but since not ordered thru Walmart, I am at the mercy of this vendor. Buyer beware! I have tracking from the original shipment delivered on 5/19 to a customer in Maryland. I live in Wisconsin placed my order on 5/21 on Walmart.com so how could I receive this order on 5/19? The Amazon box was dropped off by a jerk Amazon driver today in Wisconsin. I opened to find this used poorly wrapped trashed drum.
After 450 pages on regular document printing it is requesting a new drum. I have used the TN-450 in my old printer and it had far more capacity at half the price. If I have to spend $150 every 450 pages i will throw out the printer and get a new non-Brother one. too bad cause my last printer was great and had it for many years. It just can't scan to my new mac OS
I bought this drum in March of this year (2020) and I am already getting a message saying that the optical photoconductor (IE The drum) is 'near the end of its life.' I use this printer for personal, rather than business use, so I definitely have not printed anywhere near the number of pages a new drum is supposed to handle. I'm frustrated - the drum was like 1/3-1/2 of the cost of a new printer, why did I even bother? The whole thing is particularly irksome because I am about to have finals and need to print a bunch of materials just about now. Would not recommend.
The moment we installed this drum kit our computer continued to give a message that the drum needed to be replaced. The printer never recognized the new drum. The printer kept sending the computer a message that the drum needed to be replaced.
