Brother DR730 Drum Unit for Use DCP-L2550 Yields 12,000 Pages in Retail Packaging (Not a Toner)

Easy to swap out the new drum for the old. It took about 30 seconds to do and the printer was back in business!

I just bought this drum unit today and have it in case down the road I have to replace my drum unit I have the spare in head already thank you brother for making best laser jet printers ever its Best to buy one in case cause you never know if there going be sold out or don't know when they be restock again also if ur printer still shows drum needs replace and you already put the new drum unit in go to YouTube and type replace drum unit it should tell u k after put new drum in and still show replace drum ur suppose to open door again and press clear when see drum on screen press 1 for yes and press ok then u should be good to go but check YouTube to be on safe side hope this advice helps everyone

Ease of installing and resetting the printer made this a 1 minute maintenance.

OEM parts are the only way to go. I have tried using other 're-manufactured' or 'new' (non-Brother) parts (toners & drums) but they don't last or even work out of the box. I know it's more $$ but in the long run the OEM toner and quality parts from Brother are the only way to go for trouble/frustration free operation. They will save you time and frustration.

It is the brand of the printer and works just as intended by the manufacturer.

New drum and have to replace after 1 month:(

Purchased a genuine Brother DR-730 drum, received a clearly counterfeit item. The plastic is flimsier and lighter, the stamping in the plastic is light and smudged. The stickers are low quality, light colored, and not stuck on properly. The box was printed in a much lighter print, and all paperwork looked reprinted. Very disappointed.

brother's website has to be the worst site I have every searched on, I just bought an all-in-one.They have the wrong toner cartridge in the box, there is no reference on the correct cartridge, searching there website they don't even have my purchase model number listed.

Not working, not able to print. After installatio the error message states, REPLACE TONER CARTRIDGE

Printer said drum needed to be replaced. Bought the above and now printer states drum needs to be replaced again! I will just keep printing until it stops then buy another brand that accurately states what needs to be done.
