I contacted Brother for help with this new-in-box K-227 toner cartridge that did not resolve my printer's "Replace Toner" message. Their resolution was that this genuine Brother cartridge was failed and was out of the 90 day warranty by about a month (while I waited for the message to go from "low toner" to "replace toner") and that I needed to buy a new one, for which the best they could do to help me was give me a $10 coupon, thus making the Brother USA price about equivalent to online sources. I asked for escalation to speak to a supervisor and was denied. That's horrible customer service.
