Brother HL-L3220CDW Wireless Compact Digital Color Printer with Laser Quality Output, Duplex and Mobile Device Printing

Printers don't get better than this one! This is my second time purchasing this exact same printer. My first one lasted about 8 years. I bought an ink printer after that but hated it and went back to this one! I literally LOVE this printer!!

This works very well; whatever you print comes out nicely; high quality! I love that this can be placed in one room, yet my daughter, son and myself can print to this printer from our phones or computers, no matter what room we're in. I'm very happy with this printer!!

very easy set up. prints beautifully. this does not make copies, I didn't read that when I bought it but that's okay.

This is our second Brother laser printer, our other one was 10 years old. Great little printers, good quality documents and photo prints are outstanding.

I haven't used it much but the printer seems great! Replaced my Epson that was always giving me problems.

Delivery was horrible and not timely. DELIVERY WAS A NIGHTMARE The printer was scheduled for delivery two days before I was leaving on a 12-day stand up comedy tour for veterans and was to be used to print out some important documents. Although the supplier created the FedEx label and charged my credit card the day I ordered the printer, they did not ship it until five days later - after I had left on tour. After much frustration I was able to contact Walmart customer service (in Pakistan) to have the delivery delayed until I returned from tour. That did no good. The printer was delivered while I was gone and not on the back patio where it would be sheltered as requested. It would have been damaged by the rain we had if a neighbor had not retrieved the package. I would quit buying from Walmart if every every delivery was this bad. Oh, yes: I like the printer so far. I fight with this printer every. single. day. Trying to feed labels through the manual tray might be more difficult than training for an Iron Man competition. It gives me a paper jam error 9/10 attempts. There is no extension to the bypass door, so you have to hold the paper up until it decides to pull it in, but that's no guarantee. I started gently pulling it in %26 out to "confuse" it into taking the paper, which works 4/10 times. The rest of the time it stops half way through printing and I have to take all of the toner cartridges out to reprint and basically waste 1/2 of the expensive label page. When it works, it works great. The rest of the time I want to smash it and send it back to Brother like the horse's head in Godfather.

Very difficult to set up, but printing is good.

While this printer handles standard text documents and lightweight PDFs perfectly well, it has a major hidden limitation if you plan to print high-resolution photographs or dense graphics. The Brother HL-L3220CDW only ships with 256 MB of onboard RAM. When you send a high-resolution image to the printer, the computer decompress the file into a massive bitmap data stream that can easily overload this small buffer. This triggers an immediate, unhelpful "Receiving Data -> Cancel Printing" error loop, even over a direct USB cable. Competing models in this exact price range (like the Canon imageCLASS series) frequently ship with 1 GB of RAM—four times the memory capacity of this Brother model. If you buy this machine and experience queue crashes with images, you will have to manually downsample your file resolution (to around 2,400 pixels on the long edge) in an image editor before hitting print to keep the data stream small enough for the hardware buffer to handle.

peace of garbage you will buy a lot of cartridges for this one... simply does NOT print if it has a low cartridge
