TN229 Toner Cartridge Compatible for Brother TN229 TN229XL Toner Cartridges to Use for MFC l3720CDW, MFC l3780CDW(4 Pack)

Got these for my well used Brother MFC since the OEMs are way overpriced. These are much less than the originals and work just as well for regular color prints with 25-50% coverage. I have not tried any super dense prints. They were recognized by the printer as per instructions. The packaging was quite adequate with a foam separator on every drum which is very important in transportation. The roller spring tension proved to be adequate, I had no problems with sheet pull through even on the semi-glossy paper. On the coverage ratio I plan for I do not see any toner separation or fade lines after at least a couple of dozen prints, the blending seems to work as well as on the originals. Over all quite happy with the cost and the results I am getting. Some complained but I did not see them say their drum was good or not because that makes a huge difference - OEMs or not.

4 Stars The TN229 toner cartridges fit my printer and were easy to install. They were recognized without any problems, and the print quality has been good so far with crisp text and solid color. I've only used them for a short time, so I can't speak to long-term page yield or durability yet, but my first impression is positive. If they continue performing this well, I'd buy them again.

These TN229XL toner cartridges work great with my Brother printer. Installation was quick and easy, the print quality is clear, and all of the colors look vibrant. A great affordable alternative to the name-brand cartridges!

I only bought this because the magenta from a 4-pack of a different brand was leaking, and its chip had failed, so I couldn't print in color at all. This 4-pack was cheaper than buying just a magenta. I installed it, and now I am printing perfectly again. Plus, I have new C, Y, K cartridges in reserve. Hopefully, they will hold up with time.

Really good toner for my TN229 . I bought this to save some money rather than going with expensive OEM. No compatability issues with the printer, worked seamlessly. Colors are really good and vibrant which is nice!

This toner set has been working really well for my Brother printer. The black comes out bold and the colors are nice and clear—no streaks or weird lines so far. I like that it's the XL size, so I don't have to change them out all the time. The only downside is the price—it's definitely not cheap, but at least it installs easy and actually works the way it should. Overall, I'm happy with it.

I saved money on toner, and now all my printouts have spots and streaks. I hope I didn't damage my printer.

His toner simply doesn't work in a brother printer. It either doesn't put the color at all, or it prints. It prints it very lightly. And every single page has a bright yellow stripe on the side of it. It's garbage don't do it.

The toners were not the correct size for our printer MFC-L3780CFW It stated in the description that they were the correct ones, but they are not. They were too small in size. I am issuing for a refund.
