The unit is simple to use although it has a "ton" of options. I do not know if the product description indicated that it comes supplied with a "clear" label. I needed to order a "white" label for my particular application.
I like it it is a little more advanced than the old model but what you catch on to it which it doesn't take long I think I have to say I like it better the big thing is if you want to print out the same kind of label you don't have to keep repeating the type down he does hit the button and it clicks as many as you want each time
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. Going through the current crisis of COVID-19 we have stocked up our household with all kinds of groceries and items we need to hunker down for a while. The label maker has made it easy to organize all of our items and have an easy streamlined look. The P-Touch label maker has been easy to use and I was able to get it going without needing to read the directions, very simple. Really glad I have it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. I received a P-touch home label maker for an unbiased review. I work in an environment where being organized and knowing what are shelves and cabinets is key in keeping organized. Opening the package was fairly easy. Assembly included adding batteries and label paper; instructions were simple to read and comprehend. The product is somewhat bulky. If a person has small hands it is too hard to hold in one hand. What I like about the P-Touch Home Label Maker is the template feature. The pre-set template feature is great for having variety in label appearance. One thing I would prefer are white labels and not clear. Also, it would be nice if the printer could print in color but I understand how difficult it would be.
Iti does not accept 3/4" tape like the one I had before. I had several 3/4" extra tapes now not able to use them.
The set up was very easy but the stickers did not stick to my Yoto players.
I rated it 3 stars because the label maker's features are great, but the screen is a problem. It is very dim and it is difficult to see the text when creating a label. I may return it because I have to find a direct light to see what I'm typing in, i've even resorted to using the flashlight on my phone to see it. Just ridiculous! I will look at the same brand with the same features, hopefully, the screen will be better.
For $45 it should include the power cord - seriously - I wanted one that I could plug in but apparently the cord is to be purchased separately. The other thing that I did not clearly understand is that this takes different half inch labels so all the labels from my old one are useless now.
Cable did not come with labeled
no reason to put on ground except being lazy
