This is really easy to set up and use! The battery lasts a very long time. I have gone through several rolls of label tape and have had zero issues whatsoever. It is very easy to type out labels and change settings. There are only two fonts but the first one is your basic font tht works for anything. Prints nicely. Highly recommend!

I like this brother P-Touch Tz label maker very much. It is small, compact and makes great labels. However, there is a bit of a learning curve as you have to figure out how to use it, how to change the fonts, the size, make double lines, etc. That takes a little while. It does come with written directions but they could be a lot better. I found a video online that some woman made showing how to use the label maker and that helped me a lot in figuring out how to use it. The video was much more helpful than the paper instructions that come with the product. The company should post some videos showing how to operate their label makers. It also comes packaged so tightly in plastic and cardboard that it takes a while to open and I needed sharp scissors to assist as it was not easy. You could protect gold bars with their packaging! But overall, this is a really great product. The adaptor is great because you don't have to use batteries if you don't want to as you can just plug it into an electrical socket. So for me, this is a keeper and a great product.

I have used this particular model before and I purchased this as a gift, good size display, easy to use, like every other model it wastes some tape with a leader in a footer, but tapes aren't that expensive so

Easy to setup and use.

Not too bad...4 stars because of the amount of wasted tape...picture of problem included...hopefully Brother will correct this in the future!

Work perfect

The reason I selected this label maker was because the package included an AC adaptor. I failed to open the package until months after receipt. Unfortunately, it did not contain the AC adaptor. The 30 day return period has long past. The label maker I ordered was PT-2040W. The one I received was PT2040C. Not sure if that is the problem.

Label Maker had expired batters (18 months expired) and when I replaced the batteries, it still didn't work. Very disappointed.

waited 2 weeks for this item and when it arrived it was easy to see the package had been opened and there was no A/C charger. Returning to store
