Everything about this is simple and easy to use. It has many different color cartridge options, frames, fonts, etc to use for any need. I have even run the labels through the dishwasher and more often than not they survive. If needing a simple labeling solution, this is an amazing product and definitely worth the money

I was trying to decide between this and the Dymo label maker. A friend had both and I tried them both out. The Brother far exceeded my expectations, the Dymo was constantly having the tape get stuck. This is the clear winner and you can buy generic label cartridges for it that work well. It's easy to use and I recommend it for a basic home label maker with a few extra bells and whistles to boot.

Great purchase, just what I was looking for! I like that it's not too small too like other online label makers! Or phone based either— just simple and reliable! Easy to use and pretty good instructions included, im sure there are more instructions online or on the brother website!

I found this printer way to set up and easy to use. Navigating through the menu options is easy once you know that you must select every option with the OK button. The review option is very helpful to get a sense of the letter spacing. And I like the the tape refills are cheap enough and available at many retailers

This it it, unless you want to buy an app operated off brand that harvests all the data from your phone and sends it to chi nah. I hate that you have to backspace all your previous inputs-how terribly 1990s of brother. Also there is tremendous (purposeful?) waste of label tape if you make labels individually. You basically have to type 1 big running glob of words and then cut them apart with scissors if you want to get any meaningful amount of labels out of one cartridge. This machine is 25 years out of date from a tech standpoint. But at least it's not requiring me to start an account, set a password, charging a monthly subscription fee for cloudspace, scrolling relentless ads on the viewscreen, shaking me down for more money to stop the ads, and selling my info to the highest bidder. It's sad that I am so pathetically grateful to have this machine and that I have to rate it so highly. Because what else are you going to do? So yes, buy this outdated beauty-because the alternatives will exploit you and shake you down for every penny they can.

I lost my previous labeler. Though I was presented 1 or 2 other models that may have saved me some money, getting this one made the most sense. I know of the many alternative label sizes and colors I can choose from. The first day I got my new one, I went through an entire - new - spool of labels. Without a flaw! No jams!

The keys feel like there are sponges under them. Sometimes they register and sometimes they don't. I don't like having to look when I'm typing to be sure the input worked. Also, there are so many selections online for label makers that I think Walmart should offer a larger selection--even if just the same brand. The cartridges are incredibly easy to install--just press down.

Works as stated. Many styling options. Love that it has it's own cutter. And brother is a good brand. I would say I'd like more styling options. Alot of them remind me of old school styling. Also, I would probably select one of the brother smaller version. This is almost like an old school typewriter, but a lil smaller. Small enough to hold anywhere without issues atleast. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase 🙂 and would recommend the brother label makers.

i love how easy it is to use. i had a different lsbel maker made by brother that i loved and couldn't find it on line, i assume they discontinued it. it was smaller. unfortunately i spilled something on it and it no longer worked. the only issue i have with this one is that it needs a brighter backlight.

you packaging was for durable than the product itself. Almost destroyed the machine just trying to get it out of the packaging the company sells it in. It is ridiculous that a company will produce an item you have to destroy just to get the package it's sold in open.
