Brother SE700 Computerized Sewing & Embroidery Machine with Built-in Designs & Wireless Connectivity

I bought this machine to replace a brother embroidery machine I bought about 10 years ago that recently broke. Initially, I bought a cheaper model and was not happy, but when this one arrived, it was so easy and intuitive to use because I was already familiar with brother, sewing and embroidery machines. I am looking forward to creating all kinds of beautiful outfits for my daughter with this machine and love how easy to use the brother sewing machines are. Between being a great sewing machine, with options that just to make life easier like automatic needle, threading and thread cutters to amazing embroidery features, this machine truly has everything a beginning machine embroiderer would want.

Everything was great 😊 n the machine side of it but I’m very upset with Wal Mart because they didn’t bout it in a wal mart box like they normally do and you would think during Christmas it could be a present for someone and it was ! It was for my wife but she was home and when they delivered it showed her exactly what it was and that was very frustrating to me because I spent that much money for a present but it got ruined! Thanks

Just got my sewing machine and it works perfect, no flaws and I love the LED screen. The instructions are displayed on the screen step by step and are so easy to understand. I love love!

The plastic does not seem very sturdy, and the embroidery is not as easy to use as described. Also, to embroider specific designs, you must pay for a subscription, which is very disappointing.

This is a good intro machine for combination use - sewing and embroidery design. Single needle embroidery and small hoop size are the two common drawbacks but there is a lot you can do with it when you have a little ingenuity or basic craft/sewing knowlege. There are some decent designs built in for users to try out monogramming or cute artwork. You can get embroidery files online from a variety of free and paid sites for download that will work with the machine. It is a learning process to understand the importance of good embroidery design and proper stabilization with thread choice. Trial and error on fabric scraps or old clothes is the best way to learn. This is not one of those crafts you can just dive into full force with zero knowledge and get good results.

This is my first embroidery machine. When I started using it, there were many things to learn, from supplies to tools to software, designs and color charts! All worth the experience! After a few practice runs, I began embroidering finished products. It amazed me that I was watching a machine follow a data file and create something beautiful. I couldn't take my eyes off the designs as they came to life. I'm very happy with the results and feel I can only get better, and more efficient at it.
