Set up was easy and wireless printing is great! I'm happy that I can easily use generic toner cartridges without problems! The only regret I have about purchasing this printer was that I wish I had paid the extra $30 or so to get the model that does 2 sided printing automatically.
We got this printer for someone older who is not very tech savvy. So far it's been a great decision. It was extremely easy for a young teen to install and get running. It prints great, and the ink is solid and consistent. It is only black and white, but for the quality I love this type of printer due to the crispness of the printing. It does require a few things like hitting ok after putting the paper in - which isn't a big deal at all for people accustomed to basic tech stuff, but it is something to learn if you're someone that's not the type to embrace tech, so to speak. Overall, it's a super simple install, simple to run, works well, and haven't had any issues so far. Holds a decent amount of paper, great for a small home office.
Brother HL-L2405W is been a solid, no-nonsense monochrome laser printer. Setup was quick and painless, especially the wireless connection, which worked smoothly with both my phone and laptop. Mobile printing is super convenient and reliable. Print quality is crisp and clear for documents, and it's noticeably faster than inkjet printers I've owned in the past. I also appreciate how compact it is—it doesn't take up much space, making it perfect for a home office or small workspace. Another plus is the Refresh Subscription eligibility, which adds peace of mind when it comes to toner management. Overall, if you need a dependable black-and-white printer for everyday documents without extra bells and whistles, this is a great choice at a reasonable price.
We needed to replace our old Brother printer and decided to stay with that brand. We loved our old one and are becoming very satisfied with this one.
It's compact and reliable It ‘s the third one I've bought. Went to amazon but capital one said they have a rebate if bought at Walmart which is also a great online store. I shop there in person a lot also but the in person electronic section isn't great.
I like everything about the printer... I am having one issue with it recognizing my phone, but it connected to my laptop without any issues at all... Other than that, bits a great printer...
The printer is way to hard to operate to be a Bluetooth printer goes into sleep mode and it's a whole process to get put. Set up was crazy I had to YouTube/ troubleshooting everything else was good
This should be named Big Brother. You need to provide name, phone number and enable pc location to even set this up. If you don't, setup doesn't work. You have a nice oversized plastic brick. There are ways around it but if you want a printer that doesn't bleed you for every bit of personal information, buy something else. I printed the 3 pages I needed, uninstalled the software and it now resides in the darkest corner of my closet. This is a printer. It does not require my personal information to print. Never touching a Brother product again.
Must enter password to set up the printer. I have entered password several times. Each time it's wrong. I am returning the device. Hey Brother, please allow users to set their own passwords.
The item never came, even though I received an update saying it was delivered. I emailed and called, and received an AI-generated email saying give it 48 hours. It's been four days. The printer might be great...we will see if it ever comes. :)
