Buffalo Games Pac-Man: The Board Game

My family loves pacman! My husband and kids play pacman 256 all the time and were thrilled to see a board version of their favorite game. Even my 6 yr old was in on the fun and loved it! The pieces and board look just like the game they know and love! The only downside it the noise that pacman makes, it sounds more like a hiccup than pacman. The noise stopped after 2-3 games, which we were ok with since we didn't like the sound anyway.

This game was so much more fun than I thought it was going to be. The entire family had a blast with this game. We love having family game nights and wanted to add a new addition to our lineup and it did not disappoint. We all had so much fun. This is a must-have!

who doesnt love Retro Packman..? I gifted this to my 10 year old son. We enjoy playing board games together and I knew this would be a hit! The realistic game sounds and pieces are adorable! Great buy and under $15.

I grew up playing pac man on the consoles so this really brings back memories for me. I enjoy playing this with my son because it is played exactly how the the game is originally played. It's fun to set up with my son and he enjoys paying with the little game pieces. It's fun to put together as well as play. This is a classic game the whole family can enjoy!

My son is obsessed with PacMan and we have been trying to find more family games. This comes with a lot of pieces and a lot are small so be careful if Young kids are around. It is easy to put the board together and the instructions are ready to follow. The game is fun for the entire family. Adults and kids can play.

This game comes with very high quality, durable pieces. The board, Pac-man, ghosts, yellow pegs, cards and other game play pieces are all well made and very good quality. Playing the game is so much fun! Pac-man makes the waka-waka sound (batteries included). The kids love the large character game pieces. Great for older kids (8+). Con: The yellow pegs are annoying to reset before each round. They tend to pop-out when being pushed back up, at the beginning of a new round and are very tiny so they get lost easily. At first it seemed a bit complicated but after a round or two, the kids got it.

I am a middle-age woman who has what used to be called Aspberger's Syndrome (a high-functioning level of autism), and I found the setup tedious. The board is plastic, not cardboard, and comes in four square pieces you put together like a very very simple jigsaw puzzle. That part was fine I guess, but I wanted to play on my bed and couldn't because you need a very flat/level surface for the board and pegs to remain stable. I am of average height and weight with average-sized hands and fingers, and found the pegs to be a bit too small to handle. I kept dropping them, which was very frustrating. I also had to take breaks when putting the tiny pegs in the holes because there were so many. The setup also includes stickers that you place on the board. I kept thinking how archaic this felt. With today's technology, couldn't they have been printed on the board instead? I guess kids get excited about the setup process, but it gave me anxiety. There are also cardboard "coins" that have to be placed on the board, but they are removable. The game comes with three dice, which is the most I've ever seen in a board game. Plus, there is a stack of cards. After I finished the setup, I lost interest in playing. Now, the board is sitting on the floor ready to play but I'm not in any rush.
