The powder has no taste to me. If you smell the bag, it has a similar smell to green grapes, slightly fruity. This green coffee bean powder is perfect. It's not too strong. It doesn't have such your stomach and it. It doesn't prevent sleep if you don't get carried away with it but it's enough to give me energy. I'm 72 and it's enough to keep the alertness and the energy and it's good for controlling weight too. I'm not as it balances out the nerves for whatever reason I don't need to have nervous problems, but it balances out that that irritation that gets in the way I don't take every day. Still positive energy balanced activities good stuff
