I've used these style fuses in the past. They are simple to use as long as you have experience in working on a vehicles electrical system. I recommend the Add-a-Circuit series of Bussman fuses for this type of work. If you are experienced at such modifications, then look no further. If you are new to it, then you have a great product to start with, but I suggest working with someone experienced at the work in order to prevent any unforeseen issues (such as melting your fuse box - it can happen).

Received the product and placed it on my pickup. I use it for my trailer lights. So much easier than going under the dash trying to replace the fuse. The closer it is to the lights the safer it is for the product you are protecting. Much easier to replace a fuse at night when you are traveling. Where I live they are fanatics about writing tickets for defective equipment. I would definitely recommend to use this product when wiring up a trailer to your vehicle. Prevent frustration and make it easy on yourself.

Besides being simple and having a neat appearance, these eliminate the short unfused wire leading to a usual in-line fuse when adding a circuit. Note that the max current rating is 10 amps. This doesn't apply to the existing circuit that you are tapping into, just the added circuit. The lower fuse powers the existing circuit, so fuse it at whatever it was. 1. Find a place this will fit in your panel 2. Pull out the existing fuse and put this device in its slot 3. Put that existing fuse, or one with the same rating in the lower slot 4. Connect the wire to the positive terminal on the new device that you're adding Find a good ground connection for the negative terminal on your new device 5. When you're ready to power up your newly added device, plug a fuse in the upper slot This must be sized for the new device, and no more than 10 amps 6. If it doesn't power up, turn the add-a-circuit around in the slot This is made for ATM-type fuses, but it will fit in a low-profile fuse slot if there is enough headroom to fit under the cover. You will have to use ATM-type fuses in this device, low profile won't fit it. I recommend this handy little gadget, but only for 10 amps or less, and only if there is room to replace the cover on your fuse panel. It's up you to find a good route for the positive wire without allowing dirt and moisture into the fuse panel.

After I got this product, I immediately used it on my car. It easy to install. The product is of good quality. This was a very simple process with installing this product. Reliable product for your automotive needs. This is very important car part. Very dependable product. Good quality material used in the making of the product. I would definitely recommend this product because it will last for years.

I was pleased, by Bussman Add-A-Circuit products before. Usually, I only buy the piggyback, fusible units, I also suggest them highly, as many auto manufacturers often cut costs buy noy powering fuse positions that they don't plan to make use of, like they did years ago. Anyway, this unit needs a powered fuse slot. The added circuit has to have a fuse of its own, and I would consider using this with it in mind that high-amp applications should be relay-powered. You will need to plan where the best placement will be, the fuses might have to over-lay across other fuses. Quick power usage note: It's rated for two maximums; 10 Amps / 32 Volts. All-in-all, this, as well as all of the other Bussmann auto products, is of unwavering quality. Pardon, I wasn't able to get a photo, my kid brother took off to quickly.

This tool is really handy to have. It is made of good quality materials. It can accommodate 2 fuse holders. It's very compact and fits into the fuse holder easily. It comes with a butt connector already installed. It's handy for adding any stereo accessories in the car.
