Butcher's Naturals Salmon Flavor Jerky Treats for Dogs, 16 oz

Good, wholesome ingredients in this salmon jerky treat. I'd rather give my dog salmon treats than chicken or beef because of the higher amount of nutrients. I can smell the salmon when I open the bag and it smells fresh. I also like the new bag closure. It works very well with keeping the bag closed and the treats fresh. I find it much easier than trying to pinch the bag to close. And... most importantly, my little guy actually prefers these to the arsenal of other treats I have stored for him in his cubby.

My 25lb, 10 yr old Havapoo/maybe some terrier? mutt mix is assuredly skin allergic to chicken proteins and is also a "sensitive skin %26 stomach" guy. Most dog treats have some kind of chicken by product or meal in them. These Salmon 'jerky' treats are simply 3 ingredients, none of which is chicken and he loves them. Yay! You get a good, hefty amount for the money $$$ in the 16oz. pkgs. Especially as compared with more mainstream dog treat packages. They keep REALLY well; I've not experienced any product loss due to spoilage and some hang out in a bag in our car for quite some time. They are actually pretty soft, easily breakable into smaller portions, but not crumbly and so, easy on the teeth. I've also purchased the Beef jerky and the Pork Jerky versions with my dog approving of all three. And no allergic skin/itchy reactions or intestinal upsets. The aroma is mild, when the bag is open only. Really, a reliable, healthy enough, well packaged, measured product that travels well. I'm 100% satisfied and have been buying them repeatedly for over 3 years now.

Great option for single-protein food for my allergic dog. She likes them very much and I can either use these as treats or break them up for "topper" for the kibble. She likes them and they do not upset her stomach. They are pricey but they are good quality. Highly recommend.

These are the only meaty treats I'll give my baby boy. I stand by this company and everything they make. I have been telling everyone about this brand. Well.. they did it again. When I tell you the stink of the salmon smacked me in the face I immediately knew that he was about to LOVE these things. Oh they stink so good and he has no idea of the vitamins and other good things he's eating. You wont be disappointed your fur baby is going to LOVE these!

My dog really likes these- my super picky, uninterested in food dog. She's still liked these 6 months later, which makes these treats a unicorn; she gets bored with a treat or food quickly. They're soft and easy to tear, but thankfully don't crumble in your pocket. Most dogs I give out treats to like these as well. I wouldn't mind a bit fewer calories, but thats probably why she likes them.

The treats have a great texture! Easy to break them apart into smaller bits as needed. We are in the process of switching our dog over to a fish based diet, and he really enjoyed these treats. I like the limited ingredients as well!

These were out of date and brown, so my miniature schnauzer will not eat them. I have ordered before, and the salmon jerky was fine. I got a bad deal and will never order again.

I only buy healthy treats for my 12 year old Malty and was so happy to find a 3-ingredient salmon snack. But we only fed him two of these because they were so dry and crumbly, he choked on them. They also had a terribly strong smell. The reviews were good, so maybe we got a bad batch but at $12.98, we won't be trying them again.

I hate leaving a bad review but every time I get these shipped I get bottom of the barrel treats. My dog has food sensitivities and goes bonkers for these salmon treats. They are great quality from the store. When they are shipped to my house they are all broken and crumbs. They put packing paper in the box so I think it's stuff they know people won't buy in the store. If you can't handle the smell of fish they do have other kinds. I do recommend the treats just not the shipping.

When u opened the bag, the jerky was in pieces not the large whole piece my pups get. Otherwise would have been great so I use the crumbles to pour over their bowl of food
