You know, sometimes you just need a little something to get you through the 3 p.m. slump at work. I usually keep a stash in my desk drawer for that exact reason, and I grabbed this Cadbury Dairy Milk Fruit %26 Nut bar to restock my supply. First thing I noticed when I opened it—it actually smells like chocolate. Not waxy or artificial, just rich and sweet. The bar itself is a decent size for an afternoon treat; thick enough to feel satisfying without being a whole meal. The fruit and nuts are pretty generous, too. I hate it when you bite into a "fruit and nut" bar and it's mostly just chocolate with a stray almond every third bite. This one has currants or raisins (not totally sure which) and almonds scattered throughout pretty consistently, so you get a little texture and that salty-sweet pop in almost every piece. The chocolate itself is that classic Cadbury creaminess, which I personally love. It melts at room temperature really nicely, so it doesn't feel like you're chewing on a rock. My only tiny gripe? I wish the almonds were a tad more roasted. They add a good crunch, but they're a little mild on the flavor side. Still, that's a minor complaint when I'm just trying to make it through a Thursday afternoon. The bar disappeared pretty fast, so I'm hoping it stays a consistent go-to. Nothing worse than finding out your favorite snack changed the recipe after you've already committed to it.
This might be just like fruit cake love or yuck but I personally hate fruitcake lol but love this candy bar yes it shocked me too it's so good just everything together tastes so nice and smooth it's amazing and I'll eat the entire thing in 5 minutes lol. They're a little higher than some candy bars but treat yourself sometimes:)
These are always being very fresh when I buy them at Walmarts. They are also two or three cents cheaper than at the grocery store. I never almost always buy enough to last a week. Then I have to go shopping at Walmart to buy some mores of these. Then I buy some other stuffs, too. So it's a win win win for me. They are very tasty and have lots of raisins and nuts inside, just like the packages say they do. I give a small price to my friends and now they buy them too. Sometimes I craving a whole bag of chocolates and sometimes I like to put peanut butter on top of this and make a kinda sandwich out of it. Yummy
It was a huge deal when a Cadbury bar showed up in the house back in the day. My parents kept it strictly for the big holidays, so we only ever saw it inside a Christmas stocking, an Easter basket, or as a Valentine's Day treat—and honestly, it was always worth the wait. I figured that as an adult, the 3.5 oz Fruit %26 Nut bar wouldn't live up to the hype, but it actually tastes exactly like I remember. The chocolate is just so smooth. It's thick, and the creamy textures make most other candy bars seem pretty waxy by comparison. The raisins are still chewy, and the nut pieces have a great crunch. It's just a classic mix. Plus, for the size you get, it's actually a great value. So many snacks from when I was a kid have changed their recipes lately. They usually do it to cut costs or because they think it's an "improvement," but they really just need to leave the originals alone. I'm just glad this one still tastes as good today as it did back then.
I hate to give these such a good review cause I wanna make sure they're always in stock when I want them. There's not a single time. I order groceries that I don't order these. They are the best candy bar ever. They are delicious the chocolates good the amount of almonds and raisins is perfect. I'd like more actually, but they are delicious
Cadbury fruit and nut chocolate is very smooth. I order the maximum allowed…12 at a time because this particular chocolate bar is very delicious, comforting and indulgent. It's my favorite chocolate bar.
This is used as a substitute for Chunky bars. It's the closest I'm able to get at Walmart. It's not quite as satisfying as a Chunky bar to me, but it's good. The chocolate is creamier and melts very quickly.
Cadbury's reputation over the years has remained consistent and delicious, but recent reports about " dangerous ingredients" to consumers by "Cadbury" Lindt"s, Nestle, Mars, are quite concerning and scary. It appears to need an ultimatum to these chocolate producers %26 manufacturers! Its certainly not the fault of Walmart or supermarkets who distribute them, But, Robert Kennedy Jr needs to get involved immediately.
why cant you keep sufficient qty in stock. i tried to order 4 bars and canceled my order because of insufficient qty. i plan to subscribe but cannot for the same reason.
If it has to be shipped from another part of the country, don't bother buying it as it will arrive like soup. No temperature control packaging, so if you live in the south and the item is shipping across the country, you will receive a bar of melted chocolate - chocolate soup...a total waste of money.
