I tried this seeing it at the store and loved it! I make espresso every morning with it, no complaints here. You gotta try it. What's the caffeine content of 1 tsp of ground espresso grounds? Can't find the information anywhere?? Not on the package nor website. Thanks!
As much as Haitian People consume Cafe Bustelo. Is it really that hard for you to acknowledge Haiti with a Game Face can? UNBELIEVABLE. The country achieved a milestone but you guys still cant find it within yourself to do the right thing. You guys are just WRONG
Bustelo espresso ground has quickly become my coffee of choice. I love bold, strong, even somewhat bitter (without being too much) coffee, and Bustelo meets all my criteria and then some. I have a very good coffee grinder at home but I over the past eight months or so it has remained largely untouched. I like freshly ground coffee but I find that Bustelo is consistently fresh and aromatic. I would just like to be able to buy it locally but so far I have had to purchase on line. We make it it our greca but normally We use our espresso machine and results from both are delicious.
My first experience with postello coffee was when I was about 5 years old. As a kid I thought it was good coffee. And in my 20 to 35 years I thought the coffee was great tasting coffee. And now with my 70th birthday coming up in November 1. I can say it's been the best greatest coffee that I have drank for about 65 years. The joke with my wife is that when I pass away, she needs to put a case of bostello.Coffee in my coffin. She thinks i'm crazy. Greatest tasting coffee
I have been buying this coffee for about a year now and I love it! Love the expresso grind and the flavor is wonderful. A friend of mine whom used to run a coffee place in Great Falls Montana told me about it and I just hope it stays on the market and doesn't go away, as it's the best pre-ground coffee I have ever had!!
I had my husband Paul purchase this brand of coffee. I had heard about this on YouTube, it being the best brand without preservatives and artificial flavoring. So now, I am getting it instead of any other brand. It is dark, rich and bold. Love the flavor, and I don't use any creamer, only a little bit of sugar per cup and a pinch of salt. It is the best coffee I have had, and so far I trust the brand. It smells great, and the consistency is rich, and bold. Freshness, the best I have had in any coffee. The extraction from the coffee itself, is best. I have tried many brands, and it seems that this one is the best by far. I would definitely purchase this brand again, and again.
I had always liked Cafe Bustelo because it was a local product and authentic to its Cuban roots. Recently, I noticed that the brand was bought out by mega-conglolmerate J.M. Smucker Company and the package doesn't list the origin of the coffee or where the product is produced. I am led to believe that this is another brand that has sold its soul to the corporate world and is being mass produced in some third-world country. Shame!
All the reviews shown are incentivized, i e they gave free coffee to “influencers” or another way of looking at it, they tried to bribe people. I say this because my previous honest review wasn't published. As a long time, decades, cafe Bustello drinker (writing for my wife) I wrote to criticize the CEO (Smucker) who was quoted glibly and gleefully proclaiming that coffee is a pass thru commodity, meaning they can increase the price to the consumer as needed with seemingly no consideration. With the increasing retail price at my supermarket I would consider other options.
One of the worst coffee brands I have ever tasted, even when it's fresh it taste stale, burnt, unbalanced and lacks flavor. The imitation brand I had been using before was excellent, I keep mistakenly buying the Cafe Bustelo and regretting it immediately. I can't look forward to a cup of coffee as long as this is the only option in my pantry.
I've always wanted to try this coffee as I see it everywhere but I find it concerning they are not transparent regarding where the beans are from and where the beans are roasted. Very bizarre.
