Must try gumbo short cut.
I browned my sausage and chicken thighs removed from pan and added jar of sauce and water as directed along with a couple bags frozen okra, scraped up all the goodness from bottom of pan, added chicken and sausage and covered on a low simmer about an hour, added shrimp and let simmer another 10 mins. Scooped nice helping over rice and was delicious. I would add the trinity next time to change up.

Take the heat out of the kitchen!
Just the best ready gumbo base I have ever used. I keep this on hand in my pantry and have reordered it many times. You can follow the instructions on the label or add to it with tomatoes, okra, fresh celery, onions and garlic. I have used both crabmeat and shrimp with this chicken base and it is delicious. Having made my own roux and seasoning, I find this so much easier and time saving.

Best Gumbo base so far
So flavorful. I did add some extra veggies to it, but it didn't really need it. Really great and makes enough to feed a large family. Will definitely be buying this again

Love Cajun Power!
I am so happy Walmart has Cajun Power! I have tried the chicken gumbo, the chili and the spaghetti. Love them all! I have recommended many many times!

Quick %26Easy
My family enjoyed it It doesn't replace Homemade Gumbo like that time consuming Roux but it's delicious just add meat anything you like and something spicy Bam dinner in 30

This sauce is AWESOME! I used to make my own sauce but this, everything you need (except the noodles) is in this jar! They did a great job!

This is the easiest and most delicious gumbo from a mix I have ever used. My family loves it. It is super quick.

Shortcuts when needed.
The longer you cook it the better the flavor. It's nit a heat-n-eat product. There's room for improvement.

It was ok it was slightly scorched.
I wanted to make a gumbo being that I live out of town now and I don't have all the ingredients like back at home. So I decided to try this product however I wasn't happy and I wasn't disappointed. The roux was standard, but it did have a slightly scorch taste to it so I had to work my magic to get the scorch taste out of it, which wasn't too bad after I touched it up.

Wrong Bass
I'm afraid to open it. The item in the picture is a reddish color. The jar has a green content. I would assume it was tomato base and not a green base. I think I need to return it.
