We sleep hot and I wanted cotton sheets that would help with that. I scoured the reviews for what Walmart had to offer and these came back with the best reviews and best price and as an added bonus they were organic cotton! Shipping was fast they arrived a day early but immediately upon unboxing California Den wowed me. My organic cotton sheets were in a recyclable cardboard box wrapped in biodegradable tissue paper! I was floored. I will have to admit they had a strong odor that smelled like some sort of chemical, I'm assuming it was the dye as that was not rated as organic and when I washed them in warm water they did not bleed at all. It took two washes in warm with a “free and clear” laundry soap to get rid of the smell but it did come out and was not just covered by added fragrance from the wash cause I don't use those at all. I was disappointed that they don't have washing instructions on the tag of the sheet or the box they came in. I did find them online at California Dens website and have uploaded them here for others. We slept on these sheets last night and they are soft, not satin, and so cool! The bottom sheet has 1” elastic all the way around and the size of the top sheet is very generous. The pillows even have a pocket fold to hide your pillows! We could not be happier and will be ordering more that I can tell you. Buying sheets is an anxiety inducing activity for me; they are a considerable investment and it really bites when you get them and they don't work for some reason or are of poor quality. I cannot say that anymore. The packaging made me so happy! I yelled, “They didn't wrap my organic sheets in plastic!” And while the initial smell was offputting washing them twice with a “free and clear” laundry soap completely removed it and I really liked that they didn't bleed bc I like darker sheets. After two washes when I put them on my bed and laid down to go to sleep there were no noticeable scents which is exactly what I am after. I pray they never stop making these. I'll be ordering extra sets for all my beds just in case. I'm also going to look for other items from them now like bedskirts and other items because …. Wow.

Good sheets are expensive. At 65 dollars, these are very nice sheets. They are only 300 thread count but are not too rough. If you want percale sheets that are supersoft, you need 500 thread count, and who can afford that.

Well made, soft, cool, and thoughtful details, like a tag labeled “head or foot” and first-class elastic on the fitted sheet, plus pillow pockets in the pillow cases. Should have bought two sets.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. My guest room needed new sheets since I got a new mattress and the old ones went with the old mattress. This fits well with deep pockets and is soft It is a crisp white. It has a weird smell new so make sure you wash before placing in bed

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I have a pillow top mattress and sometimes have problems finding fitted sheets. The fitted sheets were great for my mattress because they are deeper than most. I'll be sure to look for deep pockets when I make future purchases.

Gorgeous smooth (but not slippery) texture; no nubbles or roughness or bits that catch on dry skin or loose weave, just smooth, smooth cotton. They wrinkle (see: 100% cotton, no polyester), but I think that's the case for all 100% cotton, and sleeping cooler is worth it to me. They're not extraordinarily thin nor extraordinarily thick. I do not know what their longevity will be (re: pilling, etc.), but construction seems to be of reasonably high quality.

I bought two sets, and laundered one set, only to discover the fabric is rough, and its cut is weird. It took me half an hour trying to fold it right, only to give up, and decide not to keep it. I'll be trying to return the set I haven't opened, (and donate the one I've opened, to the local second-hand store).
