I loved this book growing up, was excited to read it again. Definitely feels thinner and cheaper than the one I used to own, but for the price it's perfect

We love Calvin %26 Hobbes
The first in a series that I absolutely loved as a kid and I am ecstatic to pass on to my own child and her friends. So far every one of them has loved it. Calvin and Hobbes is funny, philosophical and gets kids to love reading. Great for eight years old and up.

Bought this for our 9 y/o granddaughter--she has inherited our love of Calvin and Hobbes!! As she reads, she will laugh out loud and share her favorite strips. She even noticed the difference in the drawings in this book, compared to the later ones she's read (everyone looks 'younger'). I hope she always keeps her great sense of humor, and I know she will re-read this book just like the other ones...
