We're not ultra-serious kayakers, so was just looking for a good light-weight paddle for a reasonable price. Bought a couple and we have used them several times already. Very satisfied. Frankly, I don't understand why people pay so much more for other paddles.

I have a fleet of 12 kayaks to use for events and rentals. This is the best paddle I could find at this price range. No, it's not the lightest or best available, but for the cost you can't beat the durability and features. It paddles nicely (I personally used it for 9+ solid hours of paddling this weekend).

We are new to Kayaking, so we didn't want to spend a lot to get started. These paddles arrived much earlier than the scheduled delivery date and we put them in the water the next day. We are very pleased with the purchase.

Love this paddle - it snaps together/appart at middle and has three choices for angling the paddles. I am a shorter adult female, and the length was perfect for me and also my teenage granddaughter, and the light-weight is helpful also.

Great price for a decent paddle. Nice grips on paddle, blades cut through water well, & drip rings work well. Not as lightweight as some people might like, BUT the pricing for this paddle is fantastic. For the price you wouldn't find a lighter weight paddle. This paddle is the average weight you would find at this price point. Nice paddle!

I ordered 2 sets of paddles and couldn't be happier. Shipping was excellent, I received them within 3 days. I was able to use them once already and really liked them. Im not to big on the dock hooks because we dont go kayaking in those types of areas. The grips and length was perfect for the type of kayaking we do. For being originally $56 and now $31 you cant beat the price. Def. worth the money!

We looked everywhere for kayak paddles and couldn?t find any. I found the Crooked Creek Paddle at Walmart.com. These are perfect! They have a nice grip and glide through the water easily. They arrived in a very timely manner. The price point was a great value.

The adjustable feature of this paddle is a nice plus. Multiple angles of stroke can be set. Propels my 12' kayak well, with 300 lbs. of payload (including me!). I would recommend mountain bike gloves with gel pads to fight hand fatigue. No real padding on shaft of paddle. Grip surface is adequate,but gloves add an extra measure of grip. This paddle will get me to trout hideouts here in the lakes of the Colorado Rockies.

Not sure if the "dock hook" is a pro or con. I am not around docks. I was concerned that there was too much play where the two halves connect and believe the one section should fit a little tighter into the other section without so much clearance.

Im very pleased with this product. I think the paddles will last for as long as i will be kayaking. I am reserving a five star rating for a carbon fiber version, but all in all with proper paddling technique these are comfortable, durable and nice looking paddles for an all day trip.
