Simple set and works beautifully everytime.

Great printer/scanner/copier. This replaced a 30 year old printer that quit working. Perfect for home or small office. Prints much faster than my old printer. Scan and copy functions are a bonus. Easy setup, too, with clear instructions. Thanks Walmart for delivering my unit without a mark on it and for selling at a great price.

Works fine. People who have written in don't appreciate the advances made with printers. Scans and prints fine. My first laxer printer was a zerox for $99 and it lasted for years. Obviously this machine was not designed to be used as a workhorse and be beaten on. This is my 3rd “cheap “ Cannon and they have worked out fine. HP take note I have had more issues with them and their repair service sucks. . So I'll take Cannon any day.

I hate the ink jet printers that Epson makes. Have used a black %26 white laser printer for over 20 years and look forward to getting that much service out of this new Canon laser printer. Much easier to work with and far less expensive to operate with toner, etc.

This printer does not have any bells or whistles, and it prints in black and white.It does what needs done and that is prints. I have had printers where it does everything that you can think of and what does not fail they tend to break down because of the software that it has or something else that has been outdated. Here, you plug it into your printer and install the disc that they actually send with the printer, and with in a few minutes, you are printing.That is what I want at the end of the day for a printer to print.

Much better than the inkjet printers I've tried. Setup was a little less streamline, but with the loss of ease comes more customizable settings, to suit one's needs. After getting past the initial download and setup, Print function is smooth and I haven't had to fuss with it once.

Great printer. Toner replacement is not super expensive. The only complaint I have is that Canon doesn't open source their drivers so setting it up on a Pi print server or adding it to a Linux distro pretty difficult. There are other ways to make this USB printer Network capable but they didn't make it easy. I just can justify an addition almost $100 for network connectivity on a similar printer. For $100 to start with this printer is worth the money especially if your only gonna print from one device.

To me 5 stars is perfect. Since nothing is totally perfect I gave the printer 4 stars. I haven't used it much but since it is replacing a 12 yr old printer I have a big learning curve. So far the quality of the printing I have done is very good. As long as I am not trying anything fancy I am very happy with this printer. It does take time for my old brain to absorb new info so I am still turning to the (small print and confusing) directions many times.

Purchased and set up was a breeze. First print was the test sheet, quick and perfect. I have two computers one for family and one for me. My computer is a Chrome Book. This worked great with windows but did not support my Chrome Book. Ended up taking it back to WM.
