Simple set and works beautifully everytime.

I sell items on three different selling platforms, I need a reliable printer to pump out about 50 labels a day. This printer is a no-fuss easy-to-use machine. The previous machine was not able to continually give me labels without running out of Cartridge ink, After I would install a new cartridge, It would be a battle with the machine to get it running properly again . Sometimes it would hold me up for hours. Got rid of another pain in the neck.

The Best Black and White Printer Ever. Previously I had expensive HP Envy printer, it was slow and I spent whole my salary on 64XL cartridges. Now this printer Canon is my money and time saver, it prints very fast, but black and white only, for me it is totally fine. Now I spent 10 dollars for ink cartridge, 1 certridge for 1600 pages! This printer works only through cable to the laptop, not via wifi or bluetooth. But I recommend now only this printer.

Great printer. Toner replacement is not super expensive. The only complaint I have is that Canon doesn't open source their drivers so setting it up on a Pi print server or adding it to a Linux distro pretty difficult. There are other ways to make this USB printer Network capable but they didn't make it easy. I just can justify an addition almost $100 for network connectivity on a similar printer. For $100 to start with this printer is worth the money especially if your only gonna print from one device.

To me 5 stars is perfect. Since nothing is totally perfect I gave the printer 4 stars. I haven't used it much but since it is replacing a 12 yr old printer I have a big learning curve. So far the quality of the printing I have done is very good. As long as I am not trying anything fancy I am very happy with this printer. It does take time for my old brain to absorb new info so I am still turning to the (small print and confusing) directions many times.

I'd like to give this 5 stars because the printer prints fine and has good output, however, the lack of wireless capability necessitates taking a star away, and the lack of a LCD status screen for handling the copy functionality takes a star away as well. But if you want a solid, no frills printer and can work around the lack of wireless connectivity, for $100, it's a good buy.

Archaic printer with drivers from early 2000s. Forget about AirPrint or even sharing (SMB 1.0 required). Could not share through my router printer port - prints first 10 pages via LPR. No even manual two-sided printing. Returned to Walmart thx to their return policy.

Purchased the MF3010 in February, and used it sparingly. Worked well for about two months and then it died. I spent two hours on phone with Canon troubleshooting, and in the end was promised a replacement. And then the next day: I was informed that no replacement units were available. And so I have a bright and shiny paperweight, and no idea when or if Canon will deliver a working model. THIS IS VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and I am not happy with the situation.

I bought this as opposed to a wireless wifi ptinter because the ink would not dry up and clogg the printer as I hardly use it. well now the ink is coming out all over the paper.. totally black. It has no way on the menue on my computer to adjust the darkness. totally a waste. using up all the ink too. Dont buy this!!
