Work great
My only problem with this particular product is that I should have ordered the larger package! 12 pieces didn't go far with some larger plants that wanted to float more than plant! If you an aquarium lager than 15 gallons, get the bigger package!

Tie together and weight down plants
using these to tie and weigh down the Hornwort plants from my outside patio pond that I'm bringing in for the winter.

Not for use with live plants
The weights arrived as described, but you can't wrap live plants around them without damaging the plants. I think they would work for plastic plants.
