Strong smell but in a good way doesn't weigh down my hair at all i just let it air dry and i had a bit of frizz next time I'm trying it with my diffuser

This cream gives light and decent definition to curls, without the crunchy feeling. If you are looking for a more stronger hold, then this product may not be for you. I really liked this cream, because it really made my curls pop. It helped with detangling my hair, and I can use it almost everyday without it leaving residue behind in my hair. For a 10oz product, this cream is inexpensive.

Thanks Cantu for the free product! I used this product for some more slicked back looks. I appreciated how it helped my hair to lay down flat. It compared quite well to some other products I have used to smooth out my hair in the past. I would recommend it because it has a good hold and some nice slip to it which is helpful for getting the shape I want, compared to certain gels which sometimes are too sticky for me to work with. I wet my hair, applied the product and used a brush to smooth the flyaways. It held all day!!! This is significant because I have very curly hair that doesn't like to lay smooth. I used a bit of gel with this and that gave an even more sleek and set look. I would buy this product to use in order to do more slicked back looks. I would totally recommend this product and my sister with an even more course hair type likes using it too so that is notable.

I used this product a few different ways. When I applied it straight out of the shower with soaking wet hair, I saw the best results when I used a diffuser to help dry. Air drying was fine but the diffuser looked more controlled. I also applied it to my son's hair for picture day (elementary). His hair was dry so I sprayed it just a tad and then worked it in. His hair still looked good even at the end of the day. I love that I can touch my hair after application and I don't feel any residue on my hands. It feels light and not crunchy. I really love this Cantu cream. My son and I have 3a & 3b curls.

I received this product free in exchange for an honest review. This product definitely lives up to its name because it has a very smooth consistency and is lightweight. My hair didn't feel weighed down at all when using this. I will say that while it made my curls pop compared to no product at all, I've used products that would have defied my curls alot more. In their defense they don't promise a strong definition. It states that they "softly activate curls" and i do feel this product achieved that. I also tried it on an old synthetic wig I have and it helped bring it back to life. I think combined with the items from the collection,this product will do far greater than what i experienced.

I like to use curl cream in my hair after I take a shower to ensure my curls stay in tact and my hair dries frizz-less. I only wish this product was a bit thicker so I don't have to use so much of it....but that's one thing about my hair is that I usually have to use a bunch of product to ensure I aquire the desired results I wish to achieve. I do love the scent and how long it lasts in my hair.
