Not Your Mother's Curl Talk Curl Activating Hair Mousse for Lightweight Hold, 7 oz

My first time trying this mousse. I have thick curly hair and my curls got their own volume. Lol this stuff is great for holding,defining my curls and made them look good for atleast 3days! I only wash my hair once a week. Summer time different story thou. I m loving this stuff.

This a very good hair styling mousse. If you want more volume, I recommend diffusing upside down. I used a leave in that has heat protecant, diffused a bit, and leave the rest to air dry. Beautiful results. No crunchy feel. I used to wear mousse like crazy back in middle school. And I can confidently say this is worth buying. I got shoulder length, fine, type 2c-3a hair.

I have used almost every mousse available. Typically Suave. Suave conditioning mousse for curls is too greasy for my hair even though its very coarse. I normally use Suave max hold 7 or 8. I tried this mousse this morning %26 I absolutely LOVE it. My hair had more body %26 curls were perfect. I live in a very humid area with the average running 80% or higher in the mornings. I used the same amount that I normally use of the Suave but it was too much. It made my hair sticky when wet but I was able to de-crunch while blow drying %26 it looked great. I will use 1/2 the amount next time for sure. Highly recommend giving this a try!!

Not Your Mothers has become my favorite hair product. It smells nice and light. Has a good hold. Doesn't leave hair sticky or hard unless you use way too much. My daughter and I have curly hair, this product works well for us. I wish the bottle came in a larger size.

I've tried a bunch of different routines and products for my wavy hair, but ultimately, I ended up just sticking with this mousse. It's literally the only product I use to make my hair wavy, soft, and shiny. I saw that some reviews complain about it making their hair crunchy– once your hair is dry, you're supposed to "scrunch out the crunch". Meaning, use your hands to squeeze your hair in an upward motion to get rid of the crunchy texture and leave your hair with a soft, wavy texture. NYM should probably include this step in the directions on the packaging; I only know this from watching YouTube videos. People have also mentioned the smell, which isn't my favorite either, but it doesn't make your hair smell weird. My partner actually compliments how my hair smells after using it. My only complaint is that the mousse comes out super fast; you have to dispense it for the shortest amount of time possible to not get too much. But I love the product so I'm still giving it 5 stars!

So good! I was a redken curvaceous ringlet girl for years before they discontinued it. I tried product after product looking for something that held the curl without making it have the gel cast. This is it! I have never been able to use a mouse until this one. It is so creamy!

My hair is naturally curly and frizzy, so i have to use a mousse that controls it all day. The not your mothers curl product is great and the smell is good and fresh. I wish it added definition and volume that held my curls longer and kept the frizz away longer. I live in a high humidity area and the frizz comes back fast if my product doesn't work well. Overall the product is good and the texture is smooth. I do recommend trying this product because everyone has different hair types and it might work even better for you.

I always use Not Your Mother's products and usually praise them until now. Everything was great until my hair dried and felt very crunchy, I had to add way too much hair oil to soften it up and I didn't even use enough mousse for it to be crunchy in the first place. Then on top of that it felt like there was a film left on my hair, come on.... just sad and disappointed.

It says it's for all types of hair. It is NOT! If you have thin hair %26 want fullness/volume hair, then, yes, it's for you! If you have full hair %26 want less fullness/volume, then, NO! It says light hold… it is full hold %26 made my hair feel very hard %26 dry!

The products arrived broken and the contents were all spilled out 👎👎👎. I bought it online and it was supposed to arrive the same day, but it arrived the next day.
